Best Crowd Control Class?

in Aion

I was a pretty heavy into playing the enchanter in everquest1 and 2, so i'm wondering if theres a class similiar to the enchanter in AION?

 

I hear that the chanter in AION has a few mana regen buffs, but then there are mana potions already so its not as vital to have a chanter.

Also the Sorcerer has some sleep spells which is good for crowd control

Also the spiritmaster has some stuff for CC i hear. even the templar has some stuff??

I'm not sure exactly who to believe, so i was wondering what is the best class for doing CC

    Sorcerer hands down, they have 2 major cc and one short cc skill.

    1.Sleep

    2.Hex into tree

    3.Aoe Frost Nova...that last more than 10second?

    Compare enchanter(Chanter) in Aion to Wow its kinda like 1/2 of shaman + 1/2pallys. you bascially a buffer class and deal little more damage than Cleric and templar but with 3rd best surival ability. Btw ceric got self-rez skill -.-..... maybe Cleric = half shaman + half paladin too.

    No game has taken an approach to CC like everquest did with the enchanter, the sorcerer and spirit master are as close as you can get to eq1 enchanter but is not comparable to be honest, if you played EQ1 then the spiritmaster is like a 50% magician ( mostly for your pets, coth and DD ), 40% necro ( drain life, fear, snares ) and 10% chanter ( some CC with roots, snares and fears combined ).

    That is atleast my exp. with a level 30 SM.
