aion looks like a Roger Dean painting

I am looing forward to playing Aion. I'm not into pvp, but, I AM into Roger Dean's art work. If you're interested in what Roger Dean's art looks like, just do a google search. What I'm saying is that Aion's fantasy realm looks like it's been inspired by Mr. Dean.

    Interesting. I'm a fan of Mr Dean's myself. I have always loved the Yes cover art. Unfortunately, Aion's setting doesn't appeal to me. Maybe I'll check out a trial when it becomes available.

    Strange that you like R.D.'s work, but don't like the settings in Aion. Have you done any of the fly throughs on the official web site? IMO some of the levels look like they were stolen from a Yes album cover.............

    He didn't say he didn't like it, infact I kinda get the feeling the reverse is true.

    Sorry, by setting I meant the fantasy theme and the anime characters. I've never made the connection to Roger Dean myself, but the artwork is definitely nice.

    I think it's the Verteron zone, the one w/ the giant elephant looking animals. To me, it looks like Roger Dean. Other parts do too. Maybe I need to get my eyes checked.

    I didn't mean to question you're perception! :) In fact I was very intrigued by the thread title. I promise, I will check out some vids and tell you my opion on the dean-esque-ness.

    exactly! The first two pics look like Roger Dean to me.....

    Aion's characters don't look anything like anime characters....

    I suppose you could by adjusting the eyes to be enormous, but i havent seen any screenshots of that

    His work is very well known in Korea and very, very popular on the internet, I've seen his work in people's avatars and sigs for at least 5 years if not more. He created the rather famous CGI work for Shaya too.
