After a few days into Wow my friends and I decided we needed a guild, something short term just to keep us conected. I didnt want to make it, but everyone else wanted me to. I warned them id choose a horible name just to amuse myself but no one cared and so off I went getting their sigs for "Roflcopter". Within the hour we were chatting away in one of azeroths newest guilds enjoying the bright green text and the joy of linked items!. But almost a week later the unthinkable happened, we all logged in one morning to find we had no guild! Cold and alone we desperatly tried to reorganize.
I later found I had revieved an email from a GM informing me my guild name was against naming policy and they had to disband it since they havent worked out a way to rename guilds yet. I was also awared a warning on my account for being so creative with my guild name. I checked the policy page and i argued with them about their actions a bit till yesterday i refreshed the old naming policy page once more. I was sure surprised to see the word "Roflcopter" now plainly written where it once had not been written before. Roflcopter may have died, but its legacy will live on in their newly updated policies.
Names like Roflcopter will get you banned in WoW. So be careful not to put on your lolerskates when logging on.

That page was put together before the game went retail, and already contained the "roflcopter" reference.
Sorry to burst your bubble.
Well if it can proven it was there in the first place ill believe it, but then again I would find that more hillarious. So far everyone ive spoken with says its been changed.
You want proof?
Here's Google's cached copy of that page, taken on 23rd Nov - the day of WoW's release. As you can see, the "roflcopter" reference is right there.
HERE YOU GO
Thanks for playing.

LOL. I think you mean "owned".
I think it's cool that blizzard makes people use more creativ names... ROFLcopter is too much of a reference.
