If it wasent free I woulda never played the stupid system. MMO's are about people. Not solo play with lag.

If ye love wealth greater than liberty, the tranquility of servitude; greater than the animating contest for freedom, go home from us in peace. We seek not your counsel, nor your arms. Crouch down and lick the hand that feeds you; May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen.

Well then it's a good thing it was never actually trying to be an MMO, eh?

Although it's a good thing to have some controlled instanced gameplay to ellimanate congestion in certain areas(Like WoW) having nothing but instanced gameplay is a very bad thing for a MMO. This is the main reason GW isn't considered a MMO by either players or it's designers. For a MMO to be truly successful it has to have a community first and foremost. Anything that gets in the way of community development is a very bad thing for any MMO. Overly instanced MMOs are just very boring as they have taken away the one thing that makes the genre unique. If you go to far with instancing your 'game' just becomes a big chatroom with pretty graphics as chat is the only interaction the players have left.
