Yes the trailer was epic. You realize the game's graphics look no where that good, right? As long as the game play itself is anywhere close to some of the stuff in the trailer, I'm good.

Oh really? You know it's not like we' haven't been looking at the game scrensshots and video since Oct or 08 or anything. The trailer is great, the story they are trying to tell will be epic. So what was your point again? xD
Wow, it's a good thing you were here to straighten us out about the graphics, since I'm sure nobody here has seen a cinematic trailer for a game before. We were really fortunate to have you with us today.

Believe it or not, not everyone has seen gameplay footage yet.
The tards on G4TV talking among themselves wondered if that was actual game graphics. Based on the orgasmic level of praise over a trailer, I'd say they aren't the only ones thinking that.

We've all seen the graphics of this game. Bioware has released a couple videos with gameplay footage.
Only thing we havent seen is an actual UI.
Imo the graphics are awesome. You guys need to stop calling every game with a stylized look a wowclone, it's getting old.

I am sure everyone knows that these cinematic trailers are just high end advertising for MMO games. They have introduced two features that have yet to be talked about though. One is land transports and spaceships. The other is the yet unknown purpose of droids within the game. Whether they are a playable class, pet, npc, or something else.

What the OP said about the video doesn't bother me, but this line here by FreddNoNose is hilarious. Had me laughing out loud. Maybe it's because I pictured how covered my refrigerator is with my kids stuff. LOL Awesome!

why must people time and time again post incompetent drivle. I guess the OP thinks that the entire MMO fanbase is dumb and doesnt realize that the graphics in the trailer are not the same as in the game. Of course none of us has seen any of the multiple screenshots or videos from the game suggesting otherwise. We are all so fortunate to have the OP around to point these things out to us.

anyone remember the stunning trailers from Age of Conan? You can still find some of the best ones on their official site here http://www.ageofconan.com/ They are still impressive to this day.
Hype was very high then but then it turned out the game did not live up to its hype did it? I think that is what the OP is trying to say.
I find it quite amazing that people who know next to nothing about the game try to say that they know what the game will be like. And I'm getting quite sick of the blanket childish statements.
Honey, until you actually know what the game will REALLY be like, please keep your wild claims to yourself. It would be much appreciated. We've only known this game existed for a few months so you can't tell me that you know enough to make this kind of statement.
Dont think any one said the trailer was the game, but if bioware can make such a cool trailer which has excited so many people, its likely they will put things from it into the game, meaning we will be excited in game.. which is good, so dont worry about the rain, i think we all have our umberellas to keep the parade going.

What the hell doea a cinematic trailer have to do with a MMO? Nothing! And this is not directed to you who understand it, its toward all of those that goes "eweet, this must be a good MMO!" And decide to play because of the trailer.

Not to much except hype the game. I loved Blizzard cinematics and I loved this one, they are their to drive the hype.
But the one thing this trailer has me pondering now though is will there be space flight or ground flight in this game. Have heard nothing about those two things and this cinematic was the first indication to lead to maybe there will be, at least in expansions maybe.

That's still a mystery. If it is not in the game at release I could see it coming in the future. They have made comments about stealing player ships, etc.
Cinematic trailers and ingame graphics are two different worlds. But again, it's Bioware we are talking
I do think most people understand the game will not look like E3 trailer, but what I think you might be missing is, most people are excited about the story the game will be following and some of the characters involved. Might not be everyone, but for sure that is what got me really excited. I'm also looking forward to the voice overs for our own charaters. That is very interesting, it would be like playing Mass Effect, but in a Star Wars world.

Hmm I was just thinking Aion in game footage nearly rivals the trailers of most games in detail.. Just a thought.
But yes even though the OP is getting flamed what he says is true. There sure is alot of hype over the trailer, which I guess I understand i always enjoy a good trailer, but people seem to be commenting about the trailer like it is the actual game..Classic example I am a HUUGE Warhammer fantasy fan.. and Anxiously awaited the MMO to come out... The trailer was amazingly epic. The game came no where as close to being as epic as the trailer made it look. While I enjoy the game its not as good as I had hoped it would be... I am hoping I am wrong but the same could happen in TOR

A trailer is a trailer is a trailer.
Nothing more nothing less. I enjoyed the trailer because it had a great feel to it, showed some neat combat and was well made. I enjoyed the presentation itself, because you don't have many Dev-teams go to the trouble to dress up as a host of Jedi to present their new game. Personally think this shows a bit of dedication I have not seen from other Dev's (but that's just a personal thought on this).
Other than that, now waiting for wednesday to see actual in-game footage and see how that looks.
