in Final Fantasy XI

I have finished the first three missions for the Federation of Windurst but now I am at a loss because they won't give me missions until I rank up with conquests but I am at a loss doing it because the only conquest missions I find are supply missions and tbh the West Sarutabaruta one was easy... But the other supply quests need me to go to the other kingdoms and I have no idea how to do it = Can someone help please?

Also, which is the best way to earn gil? I need to upgrade my equipment but I never have enough gil for that :P

    You can trade in stacks of crystals to be able to get the next mission.  Go to www.ffxiclopedia.org to find help on missions.  Also, the best way to make money right now is to sell things you get from drops like silk thread, saruta cotton, things like that as well as doing the quests and missions.  Also, check Armor shops around the city instead of Auction House if this is your first time through the game as it's cheaper.  Not as good of gear but you need to worry about gil at the moment.

    You CAN redo missions as well. Not many people do that, but it is possible. If you go into your menu and go to the status menu you will see a bar at the very that probably looks kinda empty. That is your mission bar. You need to fill it up before later missions are open to you. It does get reset every rank you go up. You can do as S&D says and trade a few stacks of crystals to the Signet people in either Windy or Jeuno or you can redo a mission or two if you are short on cash and don't mind redoing things.

    If you want to get to the other side of the world you can either walk to Mhara and take the boat over to Selbina or you can walk up to Jeuno and then down to which ever city you are trying to hit. If you want to know what route to take check out http://www.ffxi-atlas.com.

    The one thing I recommend for new players that need money: Play all your starter jobs. As you level you are collecting the crystals and drops and well as (presumably) Fields of Valor. All these will get you gil and if you play all your starter jobs you will have multiple oppritunities to do so. Leveling all 6 jobs to lvl 10 goes a long way. Once you get ahead of the gil curve you can pretty much ride mid level gear all the way to endgame and farm very little unless you craft or want to get the high end gear. The eariler you start the easier it is later on.

    If you watch The Karate Kid backwards it's about this karate champ that just kinda slowly becomes a pussy and ends up moving back to Jersey
