I spent 50 pound for my star wars galaxies bec i wan'ted to buy two copys bec i unstailed my other one and could not reinstail it bec i hade of use my key code and when i hade a chance to play it i was so bored i stop playing and unstailed it i was pissed of dam i was

Final Fantasy is in the UK shops now. City of heros can be ordered from www.sps-systems.co.uk. There number is at the bottom of the webby should you prefer to speak to someone over the phone so you know they have it in stock.
They delivered to me Daoc, City of heros, and SWG next day after ordering....they are top blokes
Or do what a few of us brits are doing and wait for WoW....shame the soddin' yanks won't let us play on their servers....poor bast's won't have much fun without us blokes

Someone that is bored as hell at playing Star Wars Galaxies but loves playing Jump to Lightspeed.
these days I'm always in space. I only spend time on planets to go to my trainer, get a mission, then I'm off into space once again.
it's sad though... I'm paying a monthly fee for SWG but I'm only having fun playing a ship shooter. Damn you SOE!!! If they released a new Star Wars ship simulator game that was offline, I'm sure I'd be playing that instead of JTL... but no, I'm a sucker, I'm stupid... I'm a STAR WARS FAN, so I'm paying for SWG only to play JTL...
... someone shoot me... please.

I was in this game for a while before the new expansion. I felt it suffered from Lag, Lack of content and broken quests. It really had little to no feel of the Star Wars universe either. I cut my account after the grind got to me and I got bored of playing.
I haven't tried the expansion. I wonder if it is worth even getting considering there were so many problems that still were not fixed before the expansion was released. I'm guessing not.
For me, if I'm paying the out-rageus fee they want, they better have a better community, game play, less lag and working quests. I really don't think I'm asking too much.

Lag??? in Star Wars Galaxies? I used to have lag, until I got 1 gig of RAM and now even the busiest city, Coronet, does not lag at all. And I have a Master Tailor + Master Image Designer + Novice Swordsman on Bria, which is currently the busiest Server in all SWG, and I see no lag whatsoever.
If there's one thing I always loved about SWG was the fact it never lagged ever since I upgraded my RAM.
Lack of content yes. Although if you loved playing games like Need for Speed Underground, I highly suggest Jump To Lightspeed. The fact that you gradually upgrade your ship to something faster and more powerful definatly makes you feel like it's your very own ship that you built on your own.
It's not like owning an AV-21 Landspeeder knowing your only effort to get this vehicule was to loot it from the Corellian Corvette and craft it.
I'll feel proud to show-off my Ship that I upgraded with parts I looted and bought from a Shipwright and tune it to my own liking. If I have two engines, one with less speed but better control and another with more speed but worst control, and I know that speed is not a factor the way I pilot in space, I will put the engine with better control! That way the ship is personalized to me the way I want it. Just like in NFS Underground. For once in a Racing game I feel like the car I'm driving is really mine, tuned the way I want it.
Keep this in mind if you're planning to buy Jump To Lightspeed. It adds content... but for how much time? I mean the day I will get bored of just blowing up ships in space and that SOE still never added new and fun content to SWG when you're on planets, I will really quit SWG and never touch it ever again.
Cause to be quite honest, I'm always in space now. I don't grind XP for any combat professions, I'm bored of crafting. All my social friends quit SWG a long time ago and I'm not in the mood to just socialize with new people with my Musician.
So give it some thought. If you don't think it's worth your time and money, play WoW
