You do know you have the same amount of cheaters in every other MMO right?

Or is this just about DF? And we ignore anything from reality? Talk about fanboism.......experts in see nothing or hear nothing exept the thing they are watching at the moment!

Would be fun to hear from OP how he cheated in SWG, WAR,AoC, WoW, LOTRO, L2, AC, EVE, SB, UO, Hello Kitty Online or whatever!

I'm sorry... are you defending Darkfall?  ...lol

The game is amature programming all the way around with extremely bad diection and even worse gameplay. But all of that is superceeded by the vast amounts of cheaters and hackers.

Why the denial ..? The % of people cheating in Darkfall is enormous, you simply cannot defend that. Any attempt is a clear indication you have an agenda or even an employee of Aventurine.

hmm what? I've played pvp mmorpgs the last 12 years, and have macroed in all of them basicly. Whats different with DF? At least in DF its not just your char that wins you fights, its also if you are able to aim and coordinate your group fights.

Cheaters/3rd party progs... well yeah those exist in most mmorpgs also - especially in the beginning. If you choose to use them you are a fucking looser imho.

This is really a wonderfully developed game, but the devs just simply underestimated the time people sink into this games and drive to "win" at any cost.  The developers didn't fail this game, the community did.
    Game canceled - 6/1/2009.

I am happy to hear that you've quit.

Yes there are hackers in the game, you can exploit terrain in certain locations. But don't come to me saying that you're bored and you have quit the game. There are tons of things to do in the game, I am still enjoying it a lot.

It is not about the game. It is about your mindset. You'll continue on hopping from gane to game and continue on complaining.

difference is in other pvp games you do not gain abilities by macroing. In order to be better at somthing you have to constantliy do it. like hit enemys with your sword to get sword skills.

Think about how skill gain was done in morrowind and oblivion. Now think about that in its most primitive form. The problem is before you could have gain skills by just shooting at the air ect. so people would make use of macros to constantly do this while not playing.

It took AV till most recently to start to punish people from macroing. at 1st they changed how you can gain skills, like not being able to skill up with newb weps. now spells and arrows actually have to hit in order to skill up ect. They didnt condem players who macroed at 1st, thats just recent.

Whats worse is they didnt punish the macroers from doing what they did. Now its utterly hard for new players to even catch up to the macroers. they screwed up the new players and let the cheaters go unpunished.

Even some of the fanboys admitted to macroing cuz it was the only way to be competitive.

Macroing in a lvl based game with auto attack gives you little benifit.

macroing in a game like darkfall that only skills is what advances your char is cheating due to the huge advantage you gain at the end.

Watching Fanbois drop their soap in a prison full of desperate men.

    that's such a silly question.

you can auto move and run/crouch-walk/sprint/swim/dive against an object for both skill AND stat gain.

you can get mobs stuck/glitched, and/or shoot them from a spot they can't attack you - and farm said mobs.

you don't have to macro harvest, just one click till it's empty (or your stamina drops too low?)

macro any of a variety of crafting professions.

sit afk at a wall of pain and let people beat on you, for your defense/resist gains.

attack people who are afk at a wall of pain, and increase your combat skills.

look for an enemy (who owns a city), and find one whose offtime is your primetime and attack during your primetime (their offtime).

get with friends (or do it alone) and grief new players.

nakie zerg a city from a nearby chaos stone.

nakie sneak into a city (even one with 3 towers) and randomly gank folks in the city, since you can pretty much crouchwalk and/or climb over walls into most all cities.

    TONS of stuff to do.

could we please get correspondent writers and moderators, on the eve forum at mmorpg.com, who are well-versed on eve-online and aren't just passersby pushing buttons? pretty please?

Keep in mind here, I cheated yes, I only played one month.  I have cancelled my subscription.  I doubt I will come back, even if a NA server comes up. I have never cheated in anyway on another MMO.  You can belive it or not, I never had a reason to cheat in other MMOs.

By the looks of their patches, they seem to be improving the game, but they need a way to curb the cheating and whipe the servers.   At first I was reluctant to cheat, but when new friends out gain you in skills 10x, you find yourself alone in the game.  If you want to participate in the fun stuff, you gotta have some decent skill levels, otherwise you lose armor, mounts, weapons...  And guildies get tired of helping out when you aren't on the "treadmill" to advance quickly when those options are readily available, and zero punishment for doing it.   There are so many 3rd party programs and exploits.  I swear they even encourage macroing.  Most guilds make their own 3rd party programs, the game is so poor on security and easy to manipulate on the client side.  And everyone I know that got banned, it was only a few days max, usually hours.  There is no way this small company will turn away money, cheat or no cheat.

    no,

Darth is saying Op is lying because he admit he cheats... so according to darths logic he is lying about his cheating aka he isnt cheating at all, so now he is NOT cheating, he is telling the truth about the cheating.

man its hard to understand fanbot-logic

    PS. joking.
