Soooo...this is a very interesting find! I wont take credit for it but its buzzing over on the TOR forums. It shows that its in post production and that most of the voice acting is done. =D

Note:
Because this project is categorized as being in production, the data is subject to change; some data could be removed completely.Nice find I appreciate!
I think bioware is on to something but only time will tell. I've been burned before but I'm keeping my hopes up. This could be it, but of course we don't have the details need to either jump on the wagon or burn it at the stake. I love the Starwars world so I'm trying not to get too excited.
Quick judements disappoint so I'm not 'jumping' yet but ....oh boy...wishing my life away (late 2010 probably).
i knew someone was going to quote that first but that is true...the date and info my change but they wouldnt put it in post production if it wasnt in post production you cant change that. If they got that info from Bioware you dont just revert back to production after stating you are in post production. How far out could it be if its already in post production....2010 seems about right late 09 beta works for me
Well just because voice acting is finished doesn't mean the game is, that's something they probably do alot later in development, but this game should most likely be out alot sooner than we would normally expect.
btw....you are from bloodfin? pre-cu? cu? nge? i played there for a LONG time i might know you =D
Thats what im thinking...i bet we get a ton of info all at once about the game right before beta(crossing my fingers) i wasnt really worried about the whole voice acting completion status but the fact that its listed in post production makes me all warm inside lol
Voice action done is something that is late in production at least. If they have voice acting on all quests that means that all the quests are done(since you cannot change the voice acting later on without great cost). Quest done means that they have finished most of the gameplay, game world; included dungdeons(or what they call it "instance" in wow); assuming you get group quests to do there...
How much time they are gonna use on testing the game internally and sorting out all the bugs and so; i dunno but the quessing on 2010-2011 seems plausible.
Voice acting can take two weeks to record. Doesn't mean anything.
Actually it does. What else is supposed to be in the game except that?
REALITY CHECK
Cool stuff. IMDB.com .... whoever created it is a genious. I'd like to take a gander at an ERD of that database. Seems massive.
I think it is true that the game is in post-production as thats usually when you start releasing trailers and tossing out fun screens and such here and there. Bioware really seems like they know what they are doing. When WOW was coming out I actually didn't know much about it at all except for my friend asking if I was going to get it. I never did until months after release. Might just be that i'm much more of a Star Wars lore fan than Warcraft fan.
Current: Puzzle Pirates
Waiting: SWTOR,Aion, CO
Played: AC, WoW, SB, EVE

Yeah, I played thru the pre-cu era, CU, and a bit of the NGE off and on. Guilds I've been in are GAF (Galactic Airforce), USMC, NDC (New Dawn Corp) and a few other random ones I can't remember. Unlocked Jedi before the NGE, had a Master BH, and then made a noob crafter as my 3rd alt in the NGE.
They also kinda chuckled at one interview when they were asked how much was expected to be done by next years e3.
The Gamespot interview kind of revealed that it's due out before next years E3. They asked one of the lead guys what they'll be showing at E3 2010, and they said they weren't going to be there.
LOL! you dont release a big a$$ video to promote the game at E3 2009 and then say "Heh, see you in 2yrs or more..."lol these people on this board 2011, 2013..roflmao game would be forgotten by then, idiots

You might be right, It seems they are aiming to launch first quarter 2010. The interview slip was just a confirmation of the late trend.
Yes everyone speculating must be idiots, the lead developers said that the game IS a LONG way away from release, but yeah we must be idiots, you mate are gormless.
Also WAR had a big CGI trailer a long time before release.
@ Deewee amd Tillamook
I missed that, maybe you guys are onto something but there could be other reasons for not being at next years E3. I hope you guys are right though.
Well one thing is pretty much certain is they don't want to shoot themselves in the foot : launching Dragon Age and TOR at the same time. So end of 2009 seems unprobable.
The game development started in december 2005 and to speed-up the development time they bought the Hero Engine and something else I don't remember. An MMO takes roundly 5 years to create when you make your own engine, less if you buy it. Still the voice over thing puts a huge time constraint. They have top noch MMO devs & designers experts in their team and not less than former SOE SWG initial team devs.
Once in all they are creating a huge MMO have an already done (to be tweaked) engine, experienced people and can't overdelay the game for too long as 6 years development for an AAA MMO of such size would be very surprizing. Add to that the time frame of the updates on the website and it hints at a bit less than one year left as at a point they're going to speed-up the updates to create the hype and get some press focus for the launch.
All in all 1st of 2nd quarter of 2010 seems probable, 4th quarter if there's a big delay. Anything past that seems mostly improbable, unless.... they identify they gone so wrong on a core mechanics that they want to redo it before launch to avoid a future NGE like event. Could be something like realizing they need a lot of non combat content and professions or space combat at launch...
A man once asked, "God, how long until I reach enlightenment?"
God said, "Do you see this tree? Do you see the many leaves blowing in the breeze? The number of lifetimes ahead of you is the same as the number of leaves on this tree"
The man asked, "So few?"
I think the speculators pretty commonly have it at Q1 or Q2 2010, and that seems reasonable to me. At least I hope it would be. That means I only have until Q2 2010 to wrap up all my web site work for the guild. Pregame projects take up so much time as it is. I am eager to play, but I am also greatful for the opportunity to work on things pre-game and get all that nailed down first.
