Personally I prefer a blend, one of the reasons I like the original SWG system.
Although I'd prefer a slightly more skill based blend on it. Where each class has a set of sills they can learn for little cost, and the further away a skill was the more it cost to learn.

QFE, to clarify my stance I will just say. I loved SWG, I loved the skill based progression of old. That does not mean another type of system will detract from any fun I might have. If the game is as good as it seems it might be with what info has become available. It really makes no difference what type of progression they use.

I'd much rather see a skill based game, but I will still give it a try. I mean it is Bioware for God's sake! More importantly it is Star Wars! I think they have the opportunity to make something special, even if they don't go the sandbox, skill based route.

if you had an option for don't care than i would vote because i really don't care which way it is as long as the combat and story is engaging.
