in Everquest II

yeah i love eq2, no more WoW for me. started yesterday and i cant stop, im a lvl 11 druid and i dont even miss the pvp. i have like 32 quests to finish lol, and i love it.

BTW if anyone cares to know, im on the neriak server, the name is "sanos". message me if u ever need help or want to do some quests, company cant hurt.

    lol, pathetic.  Once you get out of your starting cities, the zones are just so MASSIVE, you barely zone, and those times are only into instances/dungeons/ect.

    WoW is small :(.. In beta I covered alot of the map before like level 5.. in eq2 I have seen like 25% of the world at 12...Sides, all games have zones, they just dont show :P.. Ie.. Asheron's Call, portals make you zone kind of.. but you can run to where the protal goes in 100x the time.. without loading even for a few seconds..

    Yeah after the starting zones the zones are amazingly big. Zoning is not a problem at all in this game. By the way, welcome to EQ2!

    Totally unrelated to the post.

    Funny zones don't bother me and most of the zones outside the cities are large zones(you would know this if you ever played past level 10 or played the game at all to start with).

    Also am i the only one that never take more then 30 secs to zone?I know when my group zones into a dungeon i am nearly always the last to zone in(playing from europe) ans i never take even a minute to zone 20-30 secs is my time.

    Stop quoting second hand or ninth hand information  if you have not played the game.

    To the guy who just got EQ2 enjoy the game .

    oh man, im so sad now becuase i really really like eq2, and i dont think im going to use this collectors edition WoW, lol. i have more friends on WoW but eq2 is just..great, and i did alot of things during WoW beta. i mean, even though on eq2 my comp crashes randomly anywhere between 2mins to 5 hours of gameplay, i still venture on, i dont think im goin back to WoW for awhile. anyways heres some news about me since i havent posted in awhile:

    starting community college in january, going to North Vista (San Antonio).

    also unless i can change servers (please tell me i can) i have to start another "Sanos, the druid" on the Nektulos server to join some friends.

    oh and heres another thought, why is eq2 a 7.4 lol? im like wha????

    ah, one more thought- i dont understand why people think eq2 is boring? its basicaly the same game as WoW, just as many quests, and the challange factor is maybe a little higher, but if you know what ur doing u should have no problem lvling.

    I also play on Neriak.  My initial server was blackburrow but it was overly populated so I decided to move.  Game rated a 7.4 because spiteful WoW people prob rate EQ2 lowest they can because they are lame.  I never played retail WoW, but I have played both and I feel the same way you do.  I've also played to 20+ on more than one character, so I am not uninformed.  Anyways, I hope you have fun with your chosen path.

    I play both games, i love both games. They are totally different, WoW is mroe like a FPS to me, levelling is fast and PvP is entertaining, its very fun too. EQ2 is amazing and better for roleplaying you feel like your in the world.

    Gawd I'm tired of see'n that sig - it always is followed by some bias eq2 fanboi BS. I'm so glad you like eq2 - I saw a dork in the video game shop as I was picking up my copy of WoW and dissin on eq2 to the sales guy - he said "oh I like eq2 blah blah blah" he was a dork lookin mug if I ever did see one.

     

    I was like dam, what a dork lookin dork... you remind me of him... EQ2 is just crappola. Worlds of Warcraft is the BOMB.

    That one made me piss myself laughing.  You couldn't possibly have seen any more than the one starting zone by level 5...to run anywhere else would mean certain death...but you would know that had you played it :P

    I would say that WoW is probably equivalent to the entire original EQ, plus Kunark and Velious add ons as is.  I'm 33, i;ve been in but not fully exlpored about half the zones on my continent without touching the other one thats just as big...
