about how good is a G-Force 4 MX ? that is what im running on. what would be a good upgrade that isnt real expensive? also would i be able to run everquest 2 decently on this card? i have 736MB of RAM if that helps.

The GF4MX isnt a good card to be blunt. FOr an upgrade that isnt too expensive look at a Radeon 9800 or 9600.
yeah this was the first card i ever got and i just got it because it was on sale about a year ago.
yeah you wont be able to play most new games because they require pixel shaders which the MX cards do not support. dont buy any cards that say MX or LE or SE, just for future reference (and if its a Geforce card and says XT it doesnt mean the same thing as XT on a radeon in fact it means the opposite).

what does the xt mean?
xt on a nvidia card means slower than the normal version. xt on a ati card means its faster than the normal version. like a geforce fx5900xt would be slower than just a plain old fx5900. the other way around for ati.
