in Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning

Okay if we will acknowledge it or not, then Warhammer is not as good we nor Mythic themselves have hoped for.

So the fact is what happens now, will they "improve" Warhammer as they do whit daoc now, becuse Warhammer did not hit the high rank in mmo as daoc dit it,and assemble severne. Fix the system, xp lvls, rvr xp., abilites and classes. Or will it die and eventually end up as daoc did?

Personally, then I hope that they in one way or another will take Warhammer up for a remake.And acknowledge that they are mythic and have there powers, and laern to use them again, and leave WOW/blizzard to what they are good at.

    Yea i feel whit you, and i cant say that anything that you say is not tru and i wount.

    I just hope that they will remake it, some how. :(

    I played the game for a year in beta prior to release, and all I saw in the beta was the devs ignoring alot of the suggestions quite a few of us were making in regards to alot of the failures in this game. Im not saying we were right or placing blame, but they should have looked at past experiences and to other games to see some of the future outcomes of the decisions in this game. My account has expired as of today, and I am no longer going to support bad coding, adding expansions while promised content is yet to be applied (4 other capitols) and while exploits and bugs have increased since launch. With all the competition and future pvp oriented titles on the horizon this half-finished product, imo, is done in my book.

    Shall I tell you why it cant be improved?  Its because the game design is totally flawed from yesr ago when they were first designing it.  The game was build around scenarios hell if not for the latter stanges of beta then the game would have absolutley no keeps.  The keeps in themsleves are a huge dissapointment and nothing like the keeps in Daoc BG or open world.  The disng of the keeps are totally flawed in WAR, the ramp leading upto the keep lords have to be the single worst design decision known to man, andyone that thought it was a good idea need to have bene sacked.  The siege wepaons are trully the worst known to man, the only usefull weapon is a ram, and maybe the oil.  Hell daoc and wos siege wepoans totally destroy them.  The deisng of jumping around just back and forth taking BO and Keep shows that mythic didnt know what to do, Hell BOS were nothing more that big piles of rock in beta.  Instant teloprtation is another factor in making the game total failure, yes the rally call while it may save some time, actually just truns the game into a single player game that you log into and  just pvp for a bit, the game is in no way or feels like an mmo.  The PQ are a joke as nobody even does them, the only redeeming factor about warhammer is the fact u can grind lvls in SC and the open WB functions.  The game could have been 100x better but mythic lost the plot.
    The game is not an mmo imo.

    I can of course speak on behalf of Eltharion (EU) only, but our server has evolved from BOon train and keep swap to full scale ORvR where neither side is too powerful. Scenarios are used the only thing they are good for, helping to cap T4 areas.

    I admit, WAR doesn't make you sacrifice your entire life to the game to get the fun out of it but IMO it's only good thing.

    And this game is a MMO, because you can't do anything important solo. You must've meant it's not RPG.

    To all the fans of this game, I hope WAR continues with the full support of Mythic / EA, which no doubt it will - until the bitter end.

    But I'm seeing Mythic focusing on new material for the game when there is so much broken, and that's never a good sign.

    Personally, I hope they clean the slate and start with plan B, DaoC 2 hehe

    Well if they did a DAoC 2 (and instead of saying did it right...) I'll say... it was fun and addictive to play... ok.

     

    I just think if they ever were in that position or if they did Imperator type game and made it RvR (not sure they are going to ever make it in the pve market)...  Then I would hope in the beta they actually took feedback and listened to it.

     

    Instead of the WAR beta:  "Please give us feedback on the systems tested.  Any feedback on how to change these systems so that you would buy or subscribe to the game long term... will result in a ban from beta.  Thank you."  - J****

     

    In case you didn't catch the issue there...

     

    If a system is not fun and never will be fun... you can't give feedback on a non existent option.  If something is NOT fun in an entertainment product why would you buy it?  or subscribe to it long term.

     

    If you are allowed to at least have discussion that is constructive and involves the community.  On how things could be made "fun" which may result in the total removal of your "crap in a box"(tm) system... and replacing it with one people enjoy....  Well then your beta might actually help your product.

     

    That would be the big thing I'd have to see... cuz I will never pay for anything (from any developer) I think is crap again.. with the hopes it might somehow start to stink less.  aka this isn't just a Mythic choice for me... its the entire industry.

    I hope that too, DAoC 2 would be good and Mythic would be fools not be thinking of making it in the future seeing since Warhammer has came out in most forums players have been asking for it.

    p.s Your av picture, first time i seen 'Mr Barlow' nearly had a heart attack lol
