I've always been a fan of P2P MMO's but this is first free to play mmo I actually enjoy. There is alot of pvp, the classes are unique, the story is unique. There is tons of character development from choosing your way of playing by picking specific skillsets to improving yourself through DNA changes.

It's completely quest driven, developed by same company that runs the english version so the developers actually listen to the english playerbase as well. The grind isn't nearly as bad as in any other f2p mmo and if you subscribe to premium account (14 bucks a month) the grind is non-existant.

My maybe most favorite features is fast combat, you wont spend 9 hours fighting same mob, and the corpses decapitate with Havocs ragdoll effect.

Only thing that sets it worse than western mmo's is complete lack of a crafting system.

In SvS they have complete PC decapitation.  I wish they added that to the rest of the game, cause seeing your own body explode could be funny.  I would imagine there would be many deaths if this were implemented.

Like I said a few months ago, this game just needs time and has alot of potential.  Although they have achieved some moderate term objectives, it still has a bit more to go until its a complete game.  I predict about 4~5 months you will see a bit better game.

One thing I am not liking at the moment is the quick turn around on updates.  I like that they are maintaining a high rate of updating, but we are getting pieces in a more beta state.  Also they're hosting setup is a bit worse and its showing as the company is expanding their game repitoire.  By next year it will go from the current 3 to 7, and then there will really be problems.  The company needs to move to a better hosting location.  Being smack dab in the middle of Santa Monica jams up internet connections and they are forced to use a cruddy ISP Cogent.  They should definetly move to the technology firm areas in California, like San Mateo, Sorrento Valley, Silicon Valley, Riverside, or Irvine.  These areas have larger buildings and are setup to handle massive bandwidth.

This is my favorite free to play MMO of every one I have tried hands down. The UI isn't clunky or weird like some other mmorpg games which is a plus. As a free player, though, I have seen one downside and that is how much grinding comes into play later on in the game. Keep in mind, I can't afford a premium account so I don't get any exp boost. The grind kicked in for me a few levels before 40 and after 40 it's almost pure grind with little to no questing on some levels and even then it's one or two scroll quests. I just hit 47 and there was ONE scroll quest, level 46 had two. Strangely enough that's not enough to discourage me from playing. The monsters are easily the coolest looking of any I have ever seen and the weapon models are sweet looking as are the characters themselves. I have some issues with the skillset on my warrior but I can deal with it. The biggest downside is the lack of regional chat for free players making it damn near impossible to get groups for anything.

There is absolutely a grind in this game, make no mistake. Anyone that has a high level character will tell you as much even with premium subscription. The good news is that you won't really hit the wall until later on so enjoy the questing for a while. Personally, I like the lack of a crafting system because so far no one has managed to implement one in a free to play game that isn't massively screwed up or pointless.

Possession beasts are the single neatest part of playing this game, turning into a giant monster and ripping the shit out of mobs is pure eyecandy and I love it. It's a shame the transformation doesn't last longer but I believe they'll eventually change that because lots of players are asking for it. The second best part is the dark, gothic atmosphere. No kiddie stuff here. I only wish there was more blood and better ragdoll physics.

This game is definitely worth a try. Its sheer coolness factor is enough to keep me playing month after month (at least until I get enough money for another WoW time card)

When life gives you lemons... throw them at cars.

I also have to admitt this game is totally under-rated.

I had never seen it so I decided to download it to give it a try. I haven't been able to stop ever since I installed it!

The game's great; quest system is very well organized, graphics are cool, physics for ragdolls are nice and a lotta fun, you don't get that "being lost" feeling u get in other mmorpgs, there's always something to do be it solo or in groups. If you get into a guild fun will be triple, the community is fantastic, very helpful. Even when just wandering around people are very assisting.

I've had more fun with this free2play than in other similar games, and I've had much more fun here than in wow. I guess it's because the game's concept is more "my cup of tea". I'd rather spend some bucks for a subscription in this game than in others. And the basic one is not expensive (US$6)

So far it's got all I need; good graphics, awesome quests, good PVP/PVE, cool/hard mobs, nice community, server battles, nightmare time, awesome skills, varied classes/races, possession beasts etc etc.

    total awesomeness!  :D
