I would first look to your son.Perhaps he did something or has a virus on his system or visited a site and your ID has now been compromised. If you are 100% sure it has nothing to do with your son,Blizzard would be in very big trouble as personal ID should be looked after with the utmost effort. If it is Blizzards fault ,you could actually have a lawyer sue their ass, however personally i believe it is geared towards your sons online activity.

Be aware that visiting any site other than Blizzards is asking for trouble, there are tons of sites that look honest but are far from it.You should have no problem visiting sites that are just for information only,i have played hundreds of online games and never been hacked and i do not use any software to prevent it,so iMO it is really impossible to be hacked unless you visit malicious sites.

Well I spent 39.99 for the Battle Chest and 39.95 for the Wrath of the lich King so that is almost 90.00 with tax.  I aslo spent $30.00 for the game card for a 2 month credit.  This does not include the game guide I bought for $19.00 for the Wrath of the lich King.  All in All I spent about $125.  It adds up.

Once you get your account back, I'd suggest getting Battle Net Mobile Authenticator -program, or Blizzard Mobile Authenticator -device, and using it to log on to your WoW account. Both work by generating unique code each time you'll need to enter WoW, and since one code can only be used once, it stops most of the hacking attemps very effectively.

Battle Net Mobile Authenticator is available to IPhone and IPod touch, and can be downloaded from https://us.battle.net/account/support/mobile-auth-download.xml

Blizzard Mobile Authenticator costs 6.50$ and can be purchased from http://www.blizzard.com/store/details.xml?id=1100000442

I would like to learn more about the code thing that you log a code in everytime before you enter the game.  Also I really don't think it was my son.  He would have nothing to advertise on WoW.  Also he has never been to my house to watch me play.  I am in Tucson and he is in Phoenix and we just play together over the internet (a bad divorce).  I just am not sure how it happend but it did only 4 days into me owning the game LOL.

Well, I guess we come to the end of this story.  It took exactly one week and I got my account back from Blizzard.  Everything that was said in this thread was very helpful to me and it worked out just like everyone said.  I also got a battle.net account with authentication through my iPhone.  I hope this thread helps others that run into this.  Blizzard came thorugh and it took exactly one week for them to get to my email.  Thank you for everyones help.

Phoning them does get very good results, hell most Phone supports are good for getting things done fast and easily.

why does it seem like im the only one who's had a problem with blizzard phone support? when i got hacked i called them because my printer wasn't working so i couldn't sign the form and all they said was "well, if you dont have a printer i'd go to a library or something" but as for the real question. i sent it in email and it took a day to get a reply, they attached a file that i had to print out and sign(see above) after i got that done it took another day or two to get the account back. they changed my character server and name so it took about 4 days to get it back to the original name and server.

breaking news, a brawl broke out between the hogger and arthas the lich king downtown gadgetzan. there where no survivers
