I really like all the aspects of WoW (the game I am now playing) I am still a newbie at it but I would like to try another game that is a lot like it. I have a Dell Inspiron 9300 laptop. I do have 2 gigs of ram in it but I don't think it will run the heavy graphic type games. Here are some of my likes in MMOs.
I lean toward the Solo type of game but I do like to play in groups. I would like to be able to do a lot just by myself if I wanted to.
In the PVP part of the game I like it to be more guild vs guild, territorial, and/or flagged only player killing.
As far as F2P and P2P it does not really matter. I like a lot of options so I lean toward the P2P games.
I would be interested in the fantasy type of game such as WoW.
Another game that I have played and loved (not an MMO) was Oblivion.
I was thinking that Everquest 2 would be my next logical choice from what I have read on this form. Do any of you have any ideas for me. I am still a little new to this genre but really enjoy it.

Definitely try EQ2. You might also want to check out LoTRO and Vanguard as well. Obviously you will get a lot of opinions from these forums but regardless of what others say, it can't hurt to at least trial these games and see for yourself. Good Journeys!
I will give these a try and download them today. Thanks.

Definitely the three I would recommend too. All quality games. I like Vanguard most personally but the population isn't great.
MMOs played (In order of how much I've liked them): Star Wars Galaxies, World of Warcraft, Vanguard, City of Villains / Heroes, Guild Wars, Warhammer Online, Age of Conan, Tabula Rasa, Anarchy Online, Ryzom, Final Fantasy XI, Matrix Online, RF Online, Rappelz, Hero Online, Roma Victor
If you really want a game that you can just solo through, and you can have pvp at the same time...
Guild wars would be an excellent game for you. However tho I felt that the game came to a screeching halt at 20..but its very easy and its free to play.
I never really could get into EQ2 or Vanguard, the crafting system in EQ2 was really good though.
However, you may want to consider an upgrade to your current PC for some of the upcoming games; 2 gigs of ram just doesnt cut it anymore.. tigerdirect.com has really good deals, and if you now how to put a computer together, then you're in business
Main problem with the upgrading thing is...
#1 Dell
#2 Laptop and in your case upgrading memory if possible will be expensive.. but it all depends if your on Vista or Xp, because 2gig's for Xp is plenty for games where as Vista needs minimum 2gb just to run smoothly without programs going.

i tried all the games mentioned in this thread and some more but none was catching my attention longer than 2-3 weeks really.
Currently i began with Ryzon which is awesome fun for now.
it is slightly different in so many aspects but that kinda makes it intresting. It also should run fine on your lap, because the graphics ar not so demanding (and not so good, to be honest) but they work for me.
maybe you want to try the 3 weeks trial of that too, the download does not take very long
This is great help. I am in the process of trying out 5 games mentioned in this thread. I do like EQ2 a lot. I am downloading Vangaurd now. Thanks for the advise.
