Lotro thinking of subbing.

I am thinking of subbing to lotro, tried it quite enjoyed it, however, is there a way to get the game without purchasing a hardcopy of the cd?   LIke how with wow u require a cd key.     DO i have to make an upfront payment or can i simply play it.

You have to buy a copy of the game which comes with a free month. I'm 50% about it beeing availiable on the account management page.

I lost my LOTRO CDs like after I quit a few months after launch and just recently resubbed and upgraded to Mines of Moria. I used this download.

the other question i have is how is the end game in lotro?

And plz dont tell how 'fun' leveling is.  I specificially want to know if theres enough to do at endgame or if it teeters a bit as i have a tendency to be a bit more hardcore with my mmos.
