They send it to you after your NDA signature is confirmed.  Round 3 is the most recent round sent out so far, and according to the forums no one has got it yet.  People are suspecting that the staff at Vogster is off for the weekend and that the issue will be resolved monday.

Just to update this post I got in to Closed bata testing last week. Reseved the invite the first I think. Started playing Thursday. Sorry thats all I can say about this at this time. Look for my posts in 4 to 6 months.

Well, I got accepted to the CB, however when trying to accept the NDA -- because to get the key & location you need to download the client this step is required -- on the web site it would never work, so I emailed them to let them know and never heard anything from them; so a day later I tried in Firefox and that worked but never receieved the key or download location and I emailed them yesterday to let them know and as of now it's been a week since I accepted the NDA and still cannot play because I don't have the required two items: key & client.

It took me 4 days to get my key, and client link... Try resubmitting the NDA again, I did it 3 times twice in one day and once the next... then I said screw it... 2 days later I got the key.

I came back from vacation, checked my email, followed the links in it. Less than 10 mins later was starting the download (waited to see what the est. time was going to be...about 30+ hours) and walked away. Next day after work, started the install and was on playing by 7. My point if you had a problem with getting your key...check your mail again...My code (key) was on the same mail as my conformation.

    Good luck

    Good luck

I wouldn't have posted if that had been the case, nothing has come from their end after a week; even after contacting them about the problem twice...!

Still no news...  but I am getting more info about the MMO from other sources.   Seems the "poor brother" of APB.   Less customization, less intensive graphics, more generic design, but good gameplay.  I am looking forward for it!.

anyone got a magic code, that seems to get things accomplished these days..

I can't believe how game companies are strictly catering these large guilds with keys.. I know why they are doing it.. marketing reasons.. promotional reasons... they get the links incoming to their site and build up hype but if they truly knew those large guilds do nothign for their game expecially beta testing, you'd think theyd give em tp those who really want to friggan help

anyhow, enough bickeering, we all know the world sucks today.. just pass me a key

Oh they want personal info signed and mailed in? Lolz, there was 2 games in past history that went that route. Both never came to market... dont sign shit and count me out of this game

    All kidding aside,

Because, it has been said several times before, how about you actually look up some information on the game?

    Here, let me help you.

    http://news.bigdownload.com/2009/04/14/new-crimecraft-screenshots-show-battles-in-the-streets/

http://news.bigdownload.com/2009/03/27/gdc-2009-crimecraft-part-2/  (though it doesn't say F2P, they talk about an RMT system, which is used mostly by F2P.

There are a few other sources, but I'm not in the mood to hunt down every bit of info for you.

Has anyone else gotten a Beta Product Key, and not been able to actually use it? I keep getting an error that says "Not a valid code or not assigned to user." I have tried copy and paste, as well as hand typing it. Pretty crap when you get a key that doesnt work.

    Not impressed with this one.

Lost interest realquick, everyone uses the same weapon. The world is lackluster with instances only.

    Rather play Counterstrike mods.

  • rarrafrarraf Member UncommonPosts: 27

yeah the game lacks a lot in the way of addiction and the shooting part is in a seperate bunker bit and very laggy but still its somthing different and who knows the game is still under a lot of work

I told the company off, as they told me I had to install Adobe Reader to accept the NDA, because I would have to uninstall Foxit Reader. And, the weird thing is, even though I told them off and never wanted to play the game they sent me a CB invite again. Still not touching it because to accept the NDA would require me to uninstall Foxit Reader.

Why would you need to uninstall Foxit Reader? I dont see any reason why you would need to... But maybe I am missing something. In the end though, the game sucks anyway. So no loss.

They told me I had to install Adobe Reader, because there NDA form only works with it. I'd have a conflict with Adobe & Foxit Readers installed. So, I told them off, and told them I am never going to touch the game. Hell, there are much better games out there anyway.

Who asked for your opinion? If you didn't care, you wouldn't have taken the time to post useless shit.

Ok... So Foxit Reader and Adobe cant be installed on the same machine? That sounds pretty odd...

  • TeimanTeiman Member Posts: 1,319

I have never had a problem with foxit installed on the same comp than adobe.  and you need both since adobe is really slow, but open some files that foxit cant
