Disregard some of the following suggestions if they are already implemented and I'm not aware of them.
1. Have an option to lock on CTRL key - I would like to see all player names appear on the screen (i.e. while in Town District) without constantly pressing CTRL key. This will help me to find a person on spot while being in the middle of chat with that person.
2. Personal item Storage place/chest - I would like keep multiple version of rare weapons with distinct attribute(s), multiple set of armors with different rune upgrade but I can't store them all in my inventory since there are not enough space in it - let along space to store all different kinds of salvaged components.
3. Text copy/paste input ability during chat - It's kind of inconvenient to type all over again what you've just typed or what some others typed when you are trying to trade/sell/buy or ask for some info/assistance.
4. Mark gateway ("transparent barrier/wall") on the map once you've spoted it or passed through it. I'm not sure if I can remember the location of all gateways that I've passed through during exploration missions. There are dozens that I've crossed so far during Exploration Mission. It would be very convenient if gateways are marked on map so we don't have to remember every single location of them.
5. Vendors/Crafters/etc should be more visible. Have them some floating signs - similar to those "exclamation signs" that float over quest givers.

After the WPE and the last two BWE, I am still wondering if they are pondering on getting the following things implemented or though of:
1) Have a better massive selling mechanism in towns or outposts to prevent SPAMMING of sellers and shouts , where most of them are useless to me or don't interest me. An Auction house or a market place where players will gather to show off their things. Maybe a little carpet where you click on it to check out what they have. Or an automated system to have them sorted out like an auction house (which a few MMORPGs have implemented)
2) Also have an area in town or mission area that people can gather. Meaning, have a location for those interested in missions and those interested in exploring. Or placing a flag beside their names to signify their preference. I sometimes find it difficult to find people that are willing to do some exploring. All they want to do i finish the mission.
3) Quests are great so far. I think an addition of quests would be great.
4) I agree with the mark gateway, this would be very important for exploring.
5) Would there be a way for warriors to get a skill to attract all enemies to himself? Helps prevent monsters from attacking mages .
6) Implement a way for players who accidently dropped out of a mission ( from lagging out, pressed the wrong button, or just their computer freaked out.) Some really immature people can screw a party by leaving halfway into a mission or exploring. Maybe implement this for guilds only?
It's not a bug in the software, it's a feature .

1. When you sell an item to the NPC. I prefer the item to be removed from my inventory and only make it visible on the NPC area. Not on both Inventory and NPC area. Restore only to inventory when the action is canceled. More intuitive.
2. An ability to flag an item as a "valuable" so that when you accidentally sell a "valuable" to the NPC, it will ask you for a confirmation whether to continue selling it or not. Carelessness happens too, to the most careful people.
3. Sorting inventory into tabs like:
Weapons...
Armors...
Potions...
Misc...
4. Mounts? Aerial Combat? Underwater? LOL!
5. PVP not just 2 factions but like 3, 4, 5 or even 10 groups for an FFA PVP. That would be mayhem. LOL!
Lmao! Ha! Ha!
Lmao! Ha! Ha!
My suggestions after playing the last WBE:
1. As stated before when moving items onto NPC's to be sold, customized ect. Dont leave the item in my inventory if I have moved it over to the NPC's window.
2. This could already be in game and I wasnt able to find how to do it ..... arena combat that allows specific teams to be matched against each other.
3. Free For All (FFA) PVP in the arena.
4. Display the level of the monster near the name when you mouse over instead of having to click the monster to see it in the target bar at the top.
5. More mini quests.
6. A spectator area for arena combat ... or way to see whats happening during a match your not in weither it be health bars of the combatants or alive/dead progress.
7. A bank box or storage chest of some sort or pouches/bags/chests/boxes you can collect to increase your inventory capacity. Possibly some kind of NPC owned storage you can rent that costs X gold per day.
8. More classes to choose from.
9. More in depth character appearence customization options. Currently I find there is a minor difference in most characters apearences. Its easy to see many characters that look the same.
10. Improve the camera as it moves against objects so the camera isnt forced to move around the objects to avoid them. This is a more personal issue for me, when I have the camera positioned at an angle I like and move through a narrow canyon or near a wall the camera when hitting these objects will move around them and not through them. This causes me to get motion sick sometimes.
I could probably come up with more but this is enough for now.

I' would liike to add a couple of things as well:
1. Pet customization: If we could be able to change your pet's name and maybe change a little on the appearance...
2. I would like to add to the storage idea: I think it could be a good idea to add the possibility to have your own house where you could drop whatever you'd like, I have played only one mmorpg before trying this one, and that's Star Wars Galaxies, so I don't know about the other games but I know that I like the idea of having your own house.
3. Now I haven't tried exploring in this game much so I don't know how it is with the size of everything and if you can get everywhere by walking/swimming/riding?, but if you can't: I would like to see that since I am the type who likes to explore places (I did it a lot in SWG).
4. This one should maybe be the first one: It would be really awesome if we could climb up/down hills and mountains, that would add a lot to the experience of the game. Maybe it should be a kind of skill-thing? Like an advanced explorer skill? At least let us jump down a little small hill!
Dakkon, One of the reasons GW isnt a pay per month game is because they dont have some of the things that you have suggested. I agree housing would be cool but I feel that if they were to implement that sort of thing they would have to charge a monthly fee to accomodate the hardware and software needs to maintain that. I'm wondering if this is also why they dont allow players to store more items than they can carry in their inventory. If I have the choice of paying for storage and things like that and not paying for the game as is so far I'll take the no pay option.

A Storage idea is good. However, a house idea maybe bring problems for arenanet in some way since they maybe need to persist a lot of house stuff depending. But something that can be accessible in town would be nice.
From what I have heard as well, people would have like to see some partially instanced areas. What does this mean? This means that there would be areas that are instanced but allow more than a single party into it. For example, 2-4 parties could be in the same instance of the explorable area at a time. However, this would mean that AreanNet may need to implement respawning times for monsters which I don't think they intend to do at all. It is a good idea since then more parties can interact together outside of town and possible help each other in quests. However, missions should be instanced, or else, they may become too easy. I honestly like this sort of idea, just that it has some flaws like possible spawn camping for mini bosses.
I noticed the PvP wasn't has good as others expected from what I have read around on the net. Especially the LotD group, they were very dissappointed by the PvP. What I have to say is that the game is not complete. More and More content is going to be added before the actual release date. I believe the release date will be delayed as well to accomodate for all the requests and changes that need to be made to the game. Therefore, I am sure a lot more stuff is going to come out. They complain that there is a huge lvl grind. Does anyone here find there is a huge level grind compared to other games? I don't, i gain levels as I do quests and missions. I dont redo missions just to gain levels.
I hope ArenaNet will give some really good PvP maps for battling and GvG maps for those enthusiasts. Most things haven't been implemented. For good ness sake, my mesmer's gloves' icon was "Under Construction". I think the game will have a good balance between PvE and PvP. Which will be nice.
Also to answer Dakkon. There is a ton of explorable areas that may take some time to get through. But not as bad as other MMORPGs where you may need to walk for 5-10 minutes straight just to get from one zone to another, without fighting that is.
