I play only P2P. I've tried F2P and every single one I've tried has sucked, I refuse to do the item mall thing, I'd rather pay my bit up front and have access to EVERYTHING than play with my wallet. I want skill, not a paycheck, to determine who gets the best stuff.

I entirely agree. I've never found any F2P game I've tried to be actually worth playing for longer than a week or two... and I've tried tons of them. Stale, abysmal grindfests, as often as not overrun with bots.
I have yet to come across a single F2P game that looks like it has any depth to it at all. Add to that the fact that almost all of them have horrible graphics compared to P2P games, and F2P just doesnt seem that appealing. Unless you dont have any alternative.
I've been bouncing around the F2P circuit....but I have to agree that none of them hold my interest for very long partly because I will never buy anything out of an item mall...Im moving more into free trials of P2P because I dont mind paying monthly for a game if I can at least try it first
I per-fer P2p..The Free to play madness is something else..Unfinished ftp games..Poor Translation.Grindfest for sure with nothing else todo.It is getting so bad with the ftp games that they are giving free stuff away to get players to play there crap game..I am waiting to see how D&D does this should tell it all...

I much rather P2P games. But right now with little MMOs of interest to me I have been jumping around both p2p and f2p. Probibly spending more time over the past year in F2P games.

I'm too cheap to pay for my own enjoyment so I play F2P even though most of them are terrible.

I AM like the wind!
Ive played many F2P games that caught my interest and I wish some of them were pay to play.
To name a few:
Air Rivals, Drift City, Voyage Century
Those games would be much better as pay to play, its the RMT pay to win cash shops that destroy their balance.
There isnt any pay to play game like those, either.
Jumpgate Evolution and Black Prophecy might substitute Air Rivals/Ace Online in some degree.
Need for Speed World Online might substitute Drift City, but its too early to tell.
And so far, havent seen anything that can substitute Voyage Century in the P2P market.
There are other F2P games that are still untackled by the P2P market, and because of that, if you want them, you have to conceive to the F2P rules.
P2P for me since most of the F2P are grinding games...:P
P2P. There's only one F2P MMORPG on my sig. I honestly can't remember the names of the rest and wouldn't care to either.

P2p.
I am not rich enough to play "free" games...
Right now I'm playing "slow time" empire building games. So F2P with a flavor of it this site isn't used to.
I find it amazing that by 2020 first world countries will be competing to get immigrants.
P2P games only.
Next to try will be Champions Online, and TOR.
I played some good F2P games, but I just dont care for the item malls.
