Guys, if i order my WoW copy from northamerica, will i be able to play on the European servers when they come?

    Yes you will. Blizzard will make a patch available.

    Are you absolutely positive about that mate? Can you show me your sources perhaps. I would really prefer to be 100% sure before ordering wow.

    they won't release that patch untill the game is released here so you might ass well buy it when it comes out here.

    I got this mail from Blizzard Europe.

    Hello,

    The US and European editions of World of Warcraft are incompatible, so you will be currently unable to play on the European servers with the US edition. We will be providing a solution for those with the US edition to play on our servers when the European edition is released.

    ya but it migth not be viable right at launch.... maybe it will maybe it wont :O.

    I thought that I had heard that you would not be able to play on the European servers. I can't be sure on this. I will see if I can't find the post that I saw that in.

    Hm, i still havent decided if im going to play on the US servers or the Euro servers (im swedish). Since blizzard signed a deal with my ISP providers worst enemy, i know for a fact my latency isnt going to be much better on the euro servers.

    Also i cant stand people whom cant speak nor write in english. Especially germans. No offence, its just that the german language is vomit inducing.

    err, anyhow, got a bit off topic. What is the ip of blizzards PvP server? Maybe i can ping it or something to see how high my latency is.

    Your latency will be fine, TeliaSonera's backbone is da bomb and routing will be great.
