I can't even begin to say how excited I am to be able to deliver this news to everyone. For me personally, this has been 3 years in the making. Even though the news was let out early, it still doesn't overshadow the fact that Aion's most important announcement yet has arrived.

Now, before you go all "OMG non-simultaneous release dates! NCsoft lied!" on me you have to realize that game retailers in NA and game retailers in EU put product on their shelves different days of the week.
However, I was told that early access service for Aion NA and EU should still launch on the same day,but know that with all dates and statements are subject to change. Once we have official word, we'll let you know!

I can't believe we have finally seen the official release date.
I wonder what percentage of people who will play the game - or barely try it - and state that it sucks rather than that they don't like it.
My vote is about 90%? That is, 90% arrogance in the MMO community.
Aion is an Asian grinder, not really liked by many Western English speaking citizens.
I hear there is still class imbalance on the asian version, that being casters get DESTROYED!!!
Casters are good for ranged combat...I'm not sure about that entirely.

Well, one thing we know for sure about AION.
It won't be "pushed back", "classes cut", dungeons not ready, quests missing, class balancing all off kilter, and art lacking.
As much as this game has been extensively beta'd and played to death in other countries, it's ready. It's going to be refreshing to finally play a game out of that box and have it play without craploads and craploads of bugs in it for a change.

I enjoyed beta 1 a lot but then my internet decided to take a dump in my router this weekend and block ports so I couldn't really play and I just got the problems fixed yesterday
But looking forwards to July 2!

I read of a templar in a tournament stacking m.resist @ 800 for all stats causing a sorc to be able to do nothing but run from them (nullifying all their abilities). Sorcs have an ability which lowers enemy m.resist, but it's a chain spell so the only way to use it is to first land the 1st in the chain which is...not possible...supposedly lol
Guess its a good thing it's not releasing until 09/22/2009 and it's in beta now. :P
They've got THREE months to work that out, supposedly lol.

These are quite good news. I knew that it is in September, but not that there is an official launch date.
