I want to hear some pvp experience from those who play Korean/CN with multiple different classes. Rather their personal experience with XX class. I am curious how things scale in a class per class basis, or is one class the OP FTW class everyone is going to play. Balance is a big thing to me~ and I havn't seen any threads on here touch up on specific class pvp experiences. Or rather not as the focus of the thread(only searched for thread topics PvP, didn't come up with anything oddly enough might be a bug don't know)
In the american beta I tried a Templar out, but never leveled it high enough to pvp so I am still a bit in the dark as to how the whole shebang works.

I did some newbie test in the levels 20 to 25 with all dps clases figthing vs people around my level ( no ganking ), assasin was the worst of all them ( ratio of 2 kills vs 1 death ) and spiritmaster the best one ( ratio of 23 kills vs 1 death ), i hope this change as they level up because i have in mind to play as assasin in the EU release.
Will be cool if someone answer with how scale these clases as they level up.
I would also like to know, if given the option to have either ...
in your full group, but not both, which one would you prefer for PvP.
Yeah, assassins get better, 1-25 is the shit levels for them, then they become gods.
It's fairly balanced at 50, no class is so OP you can't beat them, so you have no worries. Some classes are more powerful, but skill can beat them.
after lvl10 you get skills every 3 lvl and it seems to fluxuate between who is best after every 3 lvls. It tends to settle out later on. I'm not much into solo pvp but I would say assassin, sorcerer would be best at solo pvp due to there skill makeup (at around lvl30+). Sorcerer killing from the air, and sin's killing via stealth & backstab.
Between cleric & chanter in a group, I would pick cleric. but chanter is nice to have in a party also.

A Cleric for better defense and a Chanter for more speed/offense. Either are some of the safest classes to play and can do considerable damage for a healer class.
I know there can never be a complete and ultimate class vs class balance but so far AION seems to have a decent make up.
PIRATE LORDS
I also heard that Templars are real b*tches to bring down in PVP, and can be very dangerous if played right...
Someone can confirm?

This templar is in full Draconic gear, hard to get, and he got full food buffs with powershards activated on wep. He is also a bit higher lvl than they are, maybe by 5 or so. Templars are still very hard to kill at end game along with Clerics regardless of gear though.
sounds great, especially since templars don't take heavy damage proportional the the probable light damage they deal.
So far in 1v1 PvP the Templar is yet to be defeated, each tournament for 1v1 PvP was won by a Templar player.
How does a chanter's healing spells compare with the cleric? Wouldn't a cleric pretty much be required just for the heals?

Just go by the golden rule.....play the class you like to play.
Why play a class that suks for you just because its a good solo pvp class.
This game is about group play. Your not going to have as much fun soloing all the time and your gonna miss out in all the end game content if you dont group.
Cleric's mostly heal in group play, that IS there main job. If you don't like that aspect then by all means dont roll a cleric.
(yes cleric's are a great solo pve & pvp class, But I find the class to be very boring. It's just not my cup of tea and I will not roll one just because there good at pvp).
I have a feeling that most of the peeps are going to roll cleric for all the wrong reasons, and it's gonna suk to to have all these cleric's that don't know squat about how to play there class.
