Best Laptop

maddi123maddi123 Member Posts: 53

Hey guys! :) My name is Maddi and I love playing MMOs. The next MMO I'm going to be play is Aion and I am going to get a brand new laptop for it. I would love to run on max settings without lag. I really do want my laptop to be too big and I don't like macs. :( I would like a super fast PC with great graphics. :) I was wondering if you guys new of any good laptops. If you have some time, it would be great if you could give me a few ideas. Thank you for your time. :D

Generally best buy is pretty poor on prices, but this laptop is a great deal:

    ASUS Laptop

Same price as that first one the other guy linked and it's better. Not to mention it is an outlet item so you can just go to the store if you want. (It's funny really, I would never buy a video card or other hardware at best buy because of the price -- but you can find some really great deals on laptops now and then if you look hard enough).

I'm not really sure what your price range is but here's the laptops I feel are worth looking into:

    ASUS F50SV-X1 $800
    Gateway P-7805u $1100
    ASUS N70SV-A1 $1200
    ASUS N70SV-X1 $1300

The $800 ASUS should work fine for any game if you don't want to spend too much, the $1100 Gateway and $1200 ASUS seem like the best deals given their CPU and GPU specs and either of those would be my personal suggestion, the $1300 ASUS has a slightly faster CPU, Blu-Ray and a larger hard drive.

At $1500+ there's some MSI, ASUS and Sager models that look pretty good but not gonna bother with those unless that is your price range :)

edit: I like the $850 Asus from Best Buy Nadril linked a little better than the $800 one I had in mind.
