Here... why don't you let me make the character for you. Hell, why don't I level it up to 60 for you as well? Play the freakin' game, play what you want, who cares? Warriors are supposed to be gimped, but my friend owns Mages and Rogues all the time with his, it's more about skill than anything.
So sick of these, "What's the Best blah blah blah". This isn't DAoC, and the last thing we want is a world full of Bonedancers running around. Learn to play what you like is all I have to say.
Otto!
I'm looking for some friends that I lost contact with over the years...
Geez no need to flame I just want some more specified opinions instead of me just going in and getting bored at level 60 man, this is a discussion board after all so
Ive seen it happen alot muhaha . Thing is if someone gets to hitting you, generally most of the classes can Kill you at that point because mages have such crap hp and armour generally a few swings will do it.
You can polymorph but you got to hit them somepoint. If you cant kill them with 3 spells then your a dead mage :P.

Server's magtherodon and mages suffer from lack of ap. I tore up mage 3 levels higher then me. Took out rogue 4 levels above me. Guess which class I am playing :P

In my personal opinion, it would be more boring, or "boringer" if you will , to be told what to play and you only play that class so you can be the best. What are the odds that the class that is the best for whatever you are making it for will be your favorite class? 1 in 9... Play what you want, see how you like it, and if you think there is something better out there, go find it yourself. Don't let someone else do it for you.
The fun in these games is exploring, being different and unique, and making new friends from all over the place. Play the game to play the game. Don't play the game to be the best of the best of the leet.
Well, that's what I think games are for. But if you are one of those people who have to say "I am the best, and I will be the best until Blizzard recognizes that and nerfs my character," then by all means, be my guest.
At lvl 45 , my rogue is pretty good , can take down most proffs fairly well ( if i get 1st hit , which I usually do ) . However , shamen seem to be the best and most rounded proff and I'm working one up for testing purposes
Originally posted by Neas hunters are very good yup .Good damage dealer... has a pet.... only downside: disliked in teams cause of poor pet AI.
Disliked in teams? Only if the hunter doens't have skill. Personally I led 80% of the parties I was in with my hunter. I put my pet on Passive and pulled with my bow. Then when the thing you pull gets closer you send in your pet (CTLR + 1 makes pet attack.) Easy as that! Sure enough you have to hit a few more buttons from time to time, but its PERFECT game play that way. Pet doesn't attack anything untill you tell it to. I was loved in teams.. the pet was an aid, not a bother.
And as for the strongest PvP class, it depends on how good you are with a class.
This is what I've seen from my 26 Rogue a couple of days ago by Tarren Mill:
vs. Hunter: That damned red arrow doesn't help, so I just killed the 35 that put it on me
vs. Shaman: Totems can be annoying, but I'd say I'm fairly matched as I died 1 outta 3 fights
vs. Warrior: You bastards are hard to get a dent in your HP Three swings from a 27 and I was found Vanishing with two digits of HP left and not to be found
vs. Warlock: The only Warlock I found was 31 and feared me straight into Tarren Mill with the like level 90 guards to my death. Last time I fought one of them
vs. Priest: I got to hand it to them; I fought a 25 and Power Word: Shield prevented me from landing any shots. Every time I fought one, he was like the warlock and would run into Tarren Mill with the guards. However, when stealthed, I'd get about 70% of HP down then they'd shield and heal.
vs. Mage: Forget it. As a Gnome, I can escape artist out of the ice block. Once poisoned and their movement is reduced to 50% it's as easy killing. I like to stun then back off and use my gun to shoot them until they're dead.
vs Druid: The only one I saw was 21 and I think he didn't what to do so he died without even hitting me. /shrug
vs Rogue: On my way to Hillsbrad, a me and a troll rogue bumped into each other as we rounded a corner in the tunnel before the wetlands. His level was ?? and we stared at each other for like a second. Needless to say I welped like a school girl after 2 hits.
So, this is what I've seen so far as a rogue. Do I enjoy it? YES! To be able to sneak behind the enemy and take out 1/2 his health before he realizes I'm there is quite an accomplishment. But, this is what PvP is like for a Gnome Rogue.

Yer there really isn't a definitive answer to this. From my pvp experience as a paladin I had no problems with any of the classes (especially when they were undead but out of all of them I must say killing shamans was quite annoying.
At the moment im playing a mage and am looking forward to PvP mainly because they have a much wider range of effects for slowing and stopping characters as well as some nice spells for getting away... *blink*

So far I've been owned one time by a gnome warrior 5 lvls higher than me (I also had 2 mobs on me around my lvl). Other than that I have owned someone 4 lvls and 5 lvls higher than me. Also kilt a newb that was hunting in the barrens for some reason..just askin fer death.

rogues and shamans are the most dangerous dmg dealing people out there....
druids dont pvp well against shamans- i spar with druids 3lvls higher than me for a challenge; 2lvls up is a challenge too
warriors dont do too well against shamans- slow them down and kite if ya can
priests, just own them^^
warlocks, just thinking about it; i'm not sure how they are; i know 1+lvl warlocks can kick my ass tho
mages, can be troublesome, but you just have to go at them hard and relentless
hunters my lvl suck and i can own them w/o even worrying about their pets, but any lvl higher those pets start to rip me up
anyways, my perspectives are from a wow noob at 25 who didnt play wow open(1week of ob) or closed beta, but with the right stuff and a good head on yur shoulders, any class can produce a good match and humble my spirit taking ass=)

PALADINS
1v1 they are VERY hard if almost impossible to kill
Druid is by far NOT the strongest PvP class. They arent bad, but not the best.
