Is KOW the best free to play mmog ?

Knightsonlineworld have now added 2 additional servers running in parallel,
The servers have been down over the last few days while they sort out the
latest patch and new servers.
Yes there are some lag issues.
You have the choice of two servers to play on with any one of your three characters,
so just swap servers, one of them is usually lag free.
For me the lag is a lot less than I experienced playing MY KO.
Whatever game you play their will always be hacks and cheats.
It isnt a problem for players levelling, but it can be when youre in a pvp area.
This is the best free to play Ive seen to date, the game is well populated and has potential. I hope the community supports this f2p game.

I didn't play KO, but it "looks" like an excellent f2p MMORPGs in my opinion. Buy hey, I want to hear what you guys think about KO. Is it better than Conquer Online? I love Conquer Online myself

knight online is a pretty good game. it wont break any boundrys or anything but its amusing and theres alot of nice people playing. well worth trying out anyway
yea i like it it has a slight pvp grind but nothing bad and the devs said that they r workin on it

i had the same impression, but i soon noticed that the english speakers are a minority in KO. The best thing to do is try to find a clan or make some english speaking friends and create one of your own.
About the question if KO is the best free mmorpg ? It is the best so far.
So far, KO is the best I've played, but since it was released Pay 2 Play, this Free 2 Play period will likely end sooner or later. i think this is a marketing strategy to get players hooked before they make it Pay 2 Play. This is probably much more effective than throwing a free trial out there.

I think you played too little mmorpg... you should not limit to just ryl n ko... because they both sucks. Look at the forums, there are like 20+ mmorpgs that's doing well. If you really think that Ko or Ryl is the best that you've played.. hahahahhah you are a nut case
It's true there are much better MMORPGs out there (oh, I don't know, maybe World of Warcraft?!?!), but we're talking about FREE games here. We can't expect EverQuest quality games for free right?

Well, if you were to categorized which are the best free game for mmorpg, that i'll have to give you credit and admit that it's only KO that's free..
well ive been playin ko for bout a week now and found this: Conquer online blows it away.
More equipment, More skills, more roaming space (488mb worth), pk, pvp in guild wars, f2p, weapon qualities as well as +9 upgradeable (ie refined, unique, elite, and super....super glows
) The pk function is the best by far. if ppl ks, just rape em. lunar wars are just f***ing retarded its nothing compared to a guild war (once a week). Conquer owns this game by far anyday. kthxbi
Anarchy Online is a big budget mmorpg, and you can play it free for a year..... it's not fantasy based, it's sci-fi...... but it is free to new people for a year. There are still plenty of people paying to play it as well.
It's eq quality, graphics wise, at least to the original eq.....
Well I didnt like KO when played... and conquer the screenies it looks like a shitty now Im trying Ferentus.
Guild Wars is a pretty awesome game. I think the graphics are a little more touched up than KO but both are good games nonetheless.
There's pros and cons to KO, just like in every game. But here's my argument:
The game is full of bugs, lags horribly at times, 90% of the players are turkish teenagers that are extremely rude, the GM's are very corrupt, and you spend as much time trying to log in to the stupid game as you do playing it.
BUT.....It's free. No required money out of your pocket. None. Free download, free connect, unlimited play time.
