I'm posting this here because noone goes to the Planetside forums and I want as many people to come and play the game again. It's really fun still despite not really being updated for many years now and it's aged quite abit. There are still lots of people playing and big battles but the game just needs more players to make the battles truely epic as they once were.

You can just try the game right from there and if it says something like there isn't a trial or whatever then just restart the launchpad.
If you're on Vista and can't get the game to work because SOE havn't bothered to fix it yet then just read the fix in one of the stickies.

It's still alot of fun I just want to get a few more hundred people into the battles.

Planetside is still around? I thought it went down.
Anyway, Im not Seeing the Free trial for Planetside with the other free trials.
I wish I knew about this game when it first came out, soudns like its great fun.
planetside is as good as dead. I even went back a year or so ago to check and it definetly was. I enjoyed it in it's prime, even with the insane balance issues, but it just didn't draw in enough people.
I heard they are taking the servers down for good within 2 months of june.
Planetside is far from dead, we still have poplocks all day everyday on Gemini, and see and recruit new players daily, theres no other mmofps around thats worth looking at
