Choosing the right server.

Hello all, this is my first post on these forums.

In regards to EQII, I don't actually have the game yet, and for whatever reason the client takes FOREVER to download :S so I cannot test before playing it, but I hear it is good.

Anyway, more to the point. Im wondering if anyone could perhaps inform me as to which of the servers is the most populated. I don't care if its PvE or PvP, I enjoy both. All I care about is that there are enough people on the server for me to feel I am not the only person playing the game :P

Thanks for your help in advance.

Antonia Bayle is well populated , it is a RP server but RP is not a must. By the way are you d/loading TOS?

Ty, ill remember that for when I come to playing the game.

    Downloading TOS? Whats that xD?

    Well..About the download.

See, I had previously downloaded the Vanguard trial but when I started it up it said 'Generating Report Files' then closed >_>

So I had the Station program. I went into that and went to all games, Went to everquest II and downloaded the trial, but it was taking 24hours...

I mean, I have a bad area for getting a good connection, its a really bad download rate or w/e, but 24hours is just ripping it..so I didn't bother to download it.

Im sorry i meant TSO, The Shadow Odyssey xpac. It includes the base game and all xpacs. I was thinking if that was your d/oad it would be long. The trial will not be near that long.

Im unsure as to whether or not the trial included TSO

But as I had seen people mentioning that TSO included all updates, I made sure to buy the EQII:TSO.

Hopefully it will arrive by the end of this week then I can install it (without any issues I hope) and play the game :D

Yeah honestly for the money i thinks its about the best deal going. It will install a lot faster from disc than from over the internet. I hope you like the game. I played it for a few months and had a good time with it.

    Yeh, I thought it might.

My only fear is that, because im running on 64bit Vista ill inevitably have an issue, which has been the case with several other games.

But I guess all I can do is wait and see.

    Thanks for your help ^^

Im still running XP myself but its my understanding Vista 64 is better than 32 but its just what a friend told me. I know he played EQ2 so hopefully you will not run in to any problems :)

Just for info, I have Vista 64 bit and I run EQ2 just fine. Just remember when you start the game to right click the icon and select run as administrator.

Just choose one. If everyone plays on one server, it increases the lag, and increases the competition for nodes, mobs, and bosses.
