    well im confused as well lol....doesnt say why they are selecting 200 ppl.....and what the prize is for the whole 500.....im hoping they are keys...but MMORPG is so vague lol

    Sorry all!  That is a typo.  It is 500 betas...

    NOTE: We will likely have some people that don't claim in the required 24 hours.  If this happens we will likely give the keys to the highest ranking MMORPG members that did not already win one who enterted the contest.  We have to get them all out FAST because Warner Bros. wants everyone in the beta right away and we don't have time to hold more drawings...

    It is true.

    My friend got into the beta after registering with the official website.

    He had to put in his CC info to get into beta.

    Yes, but did he get an Invite?

    If not, then thats why, he didint get a made acct, or a Reserved slot, or what not.

    I hate to tell you but everyone that gets the beta needs a CC on file. I won the beta a week ago and found this out. To register the beta account, you need to imput a Credit Card PERIOD.

    Correct if me I am wrong, but invite or not, you still have to submit CC info I believe.

    After he signed up a month or so ago on the official website @ http://www.thematrixonline.com/ , he got an e-mail from them saying that he was accepted into the beta where he was given a CD Key/ID # and was then able to create an account through a link on the website and then download and get into the game.

     

    When he was creating the account, it required him to put in his CC info. If this is the way the "invite" from MMORPG.com is, then yes, you most likely will have to submit CC info.
