been here for awhile now, i was around during 03 when I was playing SWG but never registered till after around the NGE, man I agree DAOC was most fun in a mmo aside from star wars, that was a golden age in mmos too bad most of these newer people wont ever get to experience it
Anyone else notice the "newer" guys have a crap ton of posts versus us guys that have been around 3 times as long?
I' ve actually been around when this place first began, lost my screen name back when mmorpg.com went through it's transition in early 04. Things got shuffled around. I was over at IGN by that time. As for number of post...I've been here a long time and I post regularly. As do many who re-registered back in 04.

I started browsing this site regularly back in 03, at that time I didn't really post anywhere other than server, guild and official forums. Then the NGE hit SWG, I saw the convo' going on and joined in. Haven't really liked/stuck with a game since. Thanks MMORPG.com!!

I did notice that. I have to agree with the earlier comment that there's really not much to add as far as game development goes because everything seems familiar.
Serious death penalties makes every close call an adrenaline rush, and every minor achievement a major victory. This alternative rule-set should be in all MMORPGs.
