Infinite money exploit

in Everquest II

For those not playing Everquest 2 I feel sorry for you, endless grinding to make money, sleepless nights wandering if the item you spent ages getting will sell.

Nah over at Everquest 2 there is a bug courtesy of Sony that gives you infinite money and it's still present.

Go to bank with 100 coppers, bank returns 1 silver (10 times the amount). Do this as often as you like, hey this is my kind of bank!

From experience playing MMORPGS only total money can be tracked rather than what you bought etc. So you could do this exploit, buy lots of items and get away with it.

How long has EQ2 been released, a month?

How long has it been in development? A few years at least.

To say this stinks is a huge understatement.

    I'm pretty sure 100 coppers is the same value as 1 silver.

    This is a joke right? 100 coppers IS 1 silver, and if you put it in the bank they will convert it for you.

    Besides, i don't think unlimited money will do you any good in EQII, most upgrades are available through quests, and you have to wait until you are the correct level to use most stuff, and by then you usually have the cash anyway.

    Very good point Matt. Weapons get better as you gain level. So unlimited money may not be as big a deal in EQ2 as it would be in other MMORPG's. But none of this really matters because 100 coppers is 1 silver.

    Oh is it, my mistake , Im used to games were 1000 coppers is a silver.::::01:: and so assumed it to be an exploit.

    You should change the title of your post. With the word "Exploit" in it, people are likely to think they are reading the WoW forums when they see it.
