Well ive resubbed, rerolled and having fun. So far so good, hopefully something will be done about the crashes as i look forward to the open pvp. It will be awhile before im T4 so will see when i get there. Ive not seen any lag as yet in the scenarios or public quests ive been doing and the population is good on Dark Crag so as i said i will see what i find as i go. Its good to see what others have to say so i threw this out to you folks.
What I want to know is how many are currently subbed. Anyone know where I can find this out?
Last figures from march I believe put them at 300k but all indercations say that there still loseing subs, if I'am not mistaken they should be another EA financial statement soon that may offer some hard numbers.

I'd call them "soft" numbers. In that same week they are taking the numbers from they released LOTD *and* they released in Taiwan. That's about as bloated as was possible for the last few months probably
I resubbed. I never thought I would enjoy Warhammer. When I first started the game I played for maybe a week, not even. Threw in 30 hours or so. Now I have over 125 hours in a few weeks. I come home from work, I'm addicted. I'm in NY this week visiting family for vacation. I've been playing when I have any free time. Hit Six flags yesterday and came home last night and played for 4 hours. I've just been questing and grinding. Anyways, I play on Gorfang and I'm headed out tonight but all I've been doing today is playing. I don't RVR much right now because I'm just questing and grinding to level 40 and then I'm going to RVR constantly, lol. I'm not worried because I've even heard it's better to do that. I don't think it is but it's the way I prefer.
The game has really changed. It's actually sadly the 1st game I've been addicted to since I started playing wow in open beta. I say sadly because it is a game that needs a lot of work and it's a game I feel will not make it. I feel like once Aion comes out it'll be a game that sadly takes the country by surprise and gives wow a little competition. Anyways that was off topic. Try warhammer it's a lot of fun. I'm enjoying it. I've done a few RVR scenarios since I've been back and love it. Now level 30. I've also done some open RVR and that's so fun as a zealot. Give it a try hope you enjoy it because it's worth a try, even though there are better games out of course.

WAR is one of those games that requires efficient grouping. I've found that most ppl who complain in-game are terrible at grouping. In fact, last night I was asked to join a group that proceeded to complain about the imbalance in favor of Order on DC. After playing with them for 5 minutes, I know why. It was like a bunch of chickens with their heads cut off. And they couldn't figure out why Order was kicking their ass? I had to ungroup, but not before I tried to explain to them WHY they were getting their ass kicked. They didn't get it.
I stand by my statement I've said here on MMORPG.con a thousand times...

What's strange about it is that WAR is touted and hyped as an "open RvR pvp game" with "large battles and hundreds of players in a huge war that's everywhere". The idea that the "best" way to play Warhammer is travelling around in small hunting packs of 6-12 looking for other small hunting packs of 6-12 is just... mind boggling.
It's like going to a new opening at a restaurant that advertises it's got the best burgers in town ever made, the franchise known for selling hamburgers. You meet someone in the parking lot who's a regular as you are going in and ask "Hey how's the burgers inside?"
"Meh, not so good. They taste pretty bad and they usually don't even have them. I'd try the hot dogs. They're not bad."
WAR is what you make it. You will hear a lot of talk about it being "unbalanced" "unfair" "broken"...etc. Play the trial and judge for yourself. No game is perfect, trust me. No game.

war still sucks for PVE and hunting gear.....would like more rare weapon hunts boss battles
Land of the dead is pretty cool and kept me goin for another couple weeks but the game jsut still doesnt have the umph that other mmos have i dunno i been playin since launch played all classes on both sides and i just canceled for fallen earth and aion i will def pick war back up if some things get better (mail system is still really fing slow)
Who is down for a dungeon run? ^^ Or an NM hunt? ^^
