Guild Master question

I'm a guild master, and it did not work out.  I stopped playing for a few months, and would like to leave my own guild.  So its me and my alt. left in it.

The game will not let me leave the guild.  Keeps telling me....You must pass gm to someone using /gleave... or something like that. I tried to use every combination I could think of to pass onto my alt, all no good, any advice ?

    this is a strange place to ask it - but I believe if you type /gdisband it should get rid of the guild for you.

    are the wow players so isolated now days? ask in the general chat and you will hopefully get an answer
