Hmmm....why would I want to give my CC over to sign for a dumb beta? All the other betas I've been don't to this- planetside, EQ2, Linege 2, Horizons.

its not an age/id check, they are testing the billing system
i entered my brothers credit card number and i got it to work, that means the ID check is not working :P

THousands of other games have managed to have a beta test without needing credit cards from the testers. I really cant see this being necessary and mark my words Nothing good will come of it.

Sorry, but in order to be able to enforce the NDA, they have to make sure that testers are over 18. Otherwise, they can't legally bind you to a contract. Like it, or don't test, but stop bitching about it like it's your goD-granted right or something.

Its like this Warner charges your cc 10 cent and sends back 10 cent. As long as the adress of the cc holder is the same as yours, your in. I live in sweden and here just like in many other places around the world the bank that issues the cc has a security feature to prevent frauds and scams, that being that your not able to make transfers or transactions less than 6,80$ in my case (thats about 100 swedish kronor) and yes i do have money on the card ..about 20k swedish kronors on it.
So the idea about checking ppls age doesnt actually work, a 7 y old kind can borrow mom or dads card and put in the data and still get in since he/she lives at the same adress.
Ive been on mmorpg.com for a while now and enterd just about every competition i was able to and this is the first time ive won anything and now i cant even join it , it really sux. Guess i have to put my money in a game i actually can try out before buying it

Legally you have to be 18 for a NDA to be agreed or signed for it to hold water in court, if something was broken, and they came after you.
Yes, you right.. Some 7 year old kid could borrow mom / dads CC, but its up to the parent to see what their child is using it for. Cause, if the NDA was broken, and said WB came after them.. The child isn't liable, the parent now is. And trying to proclaim innocence, that you didn't know what your kid was using the CC for or what it was abiding them to, makes the parent even look more stupid.
wtf! i have to do this too.... when i entered the credit card it won't ACCEPTED! it also say Authorization: Do not Honor! omfg.... why a credit card in beta! stupid people.....
