in World of Warcraft
when we play World of warcraft.... is it possible to have more than 1 character or u have to delete the 1 u had??

    You get like 4 char slots per server I believe 4-6, something like that.

    Keep forgetting, havn't played in like 2 weeks.

    I think in open beta it was like 10 character slots per server and up to 50 in total accros all the servers.

    I'm with SuperZwerver, i had heard that it was 10 per server and 50 total. now i can't imagine having 50 total characters but i imagine some people will manage it... i wonder, is 50 the total number of character combinations to have 1 of each class for each race?? i'm too lazy to do the math and i happen to be studying for a final that doesn't invlove math so i'm not even sure where my calculator is::::02::

    I believe that it is indeed 10 per server and 50 total.

    Also, there are, I believe 21 character combos for Alliance and 20 for Horde (one more Alliance race gets access to the Priest class than does Horde) making for a total of 41 total character combinations.

    hmmm... so if it is 41 then why would you make 9 doubles of what you had already done?? i guess the only explanation would be for multiple people who play on the same account... or people who are really bored and have way too much freetime...

    Maybe there will be more than 1 hero class per normal class so you could have some different upgraded characters.

    good point Zergy, i hadn't thought of that... hmmm... that will be interesting to see. of course i'm sure 50 is just some nice round number they picked out but it would make it pretty cool if 50 was the max amount of classes/races with hero abilities. we'll just have to wait and see

    we could play the same account but different character on different comp..

    so its :

    1 account used to play 2 character on different comp

    is it possible ??

    Nope you need 2 accounts. yep its a bummer I know a lot of people in games such as EQ did this. You dont really need 2 characters in WoW though.

    8 per server if they haven't changed it. I haven't created even 8 characters on different servers, so I don't know for sure.

    You dont really need 2 characters in WoW though

    I hope this is a joke, because if there is any game you are going to play more than one character in, it's going to be WoW.

    As for the original poster, it's 10(maybe 8) per servers, and 50 per account.
