Anyone got any ideas for a kick - a$$ mmo for PS2?

i was thinking a fantasy game but in another universe, like star wars or something.

hehe if i could have 10 minutes with sony...

    No one would be that stupid to make an MMO for PS2, aside from SquareEnix's FFXI. And even with that, you have to buy the hard-drive to go with the game to be able to play it. Not to mention, any other MMO would never get enough player base on PS2 to survive and be able to afford their own servers... Even FFXI couldn't do it completely--they released it on PC before-hand, and even still in both the US and Japan and on both PS2 and PC, FFXI still isn't doing as good as it should be. They didn't even end up going through with an MMO on XBox even though they have XBoxLive already set up to support it... PS2 would never be able to handle an MMO--again, aside from the giant SquareEnix.

    Not quite EQoA is doing quite well I've played it and they have a good amount of players.. PS2 is good for some MMOs.

    yeah EQOA (everquest) frontiers for PS2 rocks, i own it.
