Looking for a good PVP game
I played Shadowbane for almost 8 years. It was the best PVP, GVG, experience I have ever had. I am the type of player that enjoys Guild interaction, Player owned architecture, A good mix of races/classes, and most of all GOOD PVP. If anyone could suggest a game that they think I might like, I would be grateful!

if you want pure PvP, i'm sure you'll gonna like Guild Wars..
Except it lacks just about everything else he was looking for. And honestly, the PvP in GW is terrible. A bunch of pre set class templates throwing it at each other until someone forgets to hit a button and anyone who doesn't abide by said templaes either loses immidiately or is rejected from groups. The only thing GW is worth playing for is PvE at this point unless you want to be some guild leaders pawn.
Bans a perma, but so are sigs in necro posts.

Thanks alot for the responses! I beta tested Guild Wars, and its totally not sandbox enough for me. I really dont care for that game, but I do admire their B2P program. If your going to pay 50$ for a game, it makes sense not to have too pay every month for it as well. Im actually playing Runes of magic right now on the North American PVP server. I havent lvled up much yet but Im working on a character now. I just wish their was another game that was even close to Shadowbane. I really miss it!
What do you guys know about Shaiya? Is it open PVP or arena crap? Also how would you rate the gameplay and the lvl grind? I like the look of the game, but dont want a lvl cap of like 150 or something.

Atlantica Online f2p turnbased strategic pvp. it's pretty awesome once you really get into it.
I actually looked into that one today, but turn-base is non skill. Im a real time open field PVPer. But thanks so much for the suggestion, it does appear to be a neat, well put together game. I just gave up the turn-base genre a LONG time ago! Viva la Playstation hehe

Unfortunately, there really isn't anything out there that is PvP and has empire building/sandbox elements right now that I can tell. Eve is there, but it takes LONG term dedication to get any enjoyment out of, There's Darkfail, but that game just keeps digging its hole deeper, there's Mortal but that's not out yet and pricing is not looking promising(heres hoping the digital sucks less), soo yeah /=. Shadowbane had good ideas that were implemented poorly. Unfortunately, there isn't much to replace it.
