fps, third person view or eye candy?

RealbigdealRealbigdeal Member UncommonPosts: 1,666

So why did they decide to make it as an mmorpg? Is that mean that i have to create my own team with ppl i know or ppl i see in the game and add them in my team? Then, how do we play? Do i invite like 12 players minimum and each of us have to control our character in fps, third person view like gear of war or something or eye candy like wow or sport game that only follow the ball?

If its all about eye candy like other football games, fuck that because there would be no point to make it as an mmorpg. I want to control only my character in third person view or fps.

Thanks for the link and fuck that game. Its not what i wanted it to be like. Remove that game from mmorpg.com please. I thought it would be a third person view like gear of war or socom and each players on the field would had to be controlled by each players. I thought it would be more complexe then that. Damn they should just cancel that game because even footballs wont buy it that for sure. This is a pure epic failed.

If it were like as you described, each player controlled by a real human, then lag would be a HUGE issue. And ping(internet connection) would probably be the #1 deciding factor in who the best players are. Yeah, no thanks. I play Freestyle, a basketball MMORPG, and even with just 2v2 lag is bad, and as mentioned already, ping is usually the deciding factor in games.

And you sound way too hostile about a game you have yet to play. Maybe you should play Madden and throw the controller at the screen, get that frustration out.

Damn. dude, you win the thread. What do you know about lag? Its only like 11 players for the offence vs 12 players for the defence. In age of conan, they manage to make a 48 vs 48 without lags. Its depend where you from and you join a server from where you from. If you are from NA, you dont join an EU server. Damn you dont even know what you are talking about yourslef. Its possible to make a football online game where each players control each players in third person view close like gear of war or fps.

Well either way, it's pointless to argue about. The game is not designed the way you describe. So you can wait till it's released and see if you like it, or write it off before even trying it.

    I think it's gonna rock.

Well, frankly, you should be playing a football MMO at all, especially since you dont know the numbers of players on each side (also, having a equality in player numbers is a requirment in almost every sport, so 11 vs 12... -_-)

Quickhit looks interesting. I find that it's a bit of a rip off of GLB, considering the graphics are similar (but much better with QH). I've already signed up and await the season in September before I cast my vote.

Dude, i played football for 9 years. on the field, it had always had been 11 defence vs 12 offence. I know all about football, but i just dont watch it on tv like a lazy old guy like you.

"Only 11 players are on the field from one team at any one time. "

I think you should take a moment to count next time. I have never played Football, this is true. Because I dont live in the US, I just follow it. I play rugby as a sport, which I think is rougher, but I dont want to get into that.
