EQII on the brain.

GeekyGeeky Member UncommonPosts: 451

It's a good thing I'm married and have a job I have to go to or I would be a fat stinky EQII playing fool.

It's stuck in my head.  I think about it too much...my wife was talking about picking up her first paycheck today, and I'd tried to calaculate that in to how many coppers that would give me.  Oh boy...

And last night I'm pretty sure I had a dream I died in Blackborrow.  Granted I die in Blackborrow all the time, but I didnt' even go in Blackborrow during my session yesterday.  I guess my brain is so used to seeing me die in there that it just had to make something up.

My guy is online right now doing work while I'm stuck here at work.  He's selling.  Oh the joy...like free money coming in while I sit here and try to make meaningfull real money.

Hmm, I wonder what he's sold so far...............

lol, very nice. I have the same problem. Once you get hooked, your hooked. I was trying to tell my wife to go to sleep the other day, but I accidentally told her to log out, which I suppose was sposta mean go to bed. All day long, all I can think about is what I need to finish my quest when I get home. I was walking around work the other day looking for the remaining of the 15 average animal furs I needed for a quest.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

It's becoming hard for me to distinguish the two, reality and Eq2.

My boss yelled out to the office that we have a meeting tomorrow...and instintivly I yelled back as a joke that I wouldn't be there, but it came out as...

    "I'll be AFK"

And nobody I work with playes games...

    Yeah...

Whats funny is that im addicted to a game I have never played. All I think about or search for is EQ2 information, in school when I do work I think about what to do when I get the game. What class to play always picks at my mind. I bought the game and I have read to owners manual, and the box twice. I dont know whats going to happen to me once I actually can play it. Im waiting for my new computer to come in and it should be ready to pick up by Saturday, I will have to whole break to play. You guys may not see me here for a while, until the EQ2 crack has wore off. Im happy I cant play until my exams are over though, else I would not study at all.

the day before i got the game, i couldn't sleep at all, no i'm not joking, i slept like 1 hour, not even, just thinking about Eq2.  I assume it would be a bit worse for others, since i did have a month of beta, but just that night before release, i couldn't get to sleep.  So needless to say i failed the two tests i had the following day image, stupid triangles and old english literature image

sleeping pills work good..................um.............spleeping pills...............yummmmm imageimageimage

Its true...this game can be addictive as anything.  I find myself wandering off in my head during the day back to the comp and running EQ2.  heh.  thats why its good not to let it consume all aspects of your day, but enough to get your fix.  heheh.

Heh you know when you are addicted when you just know that it takes planed maple lumber and stroma resin + sandpaper to make a maple quill.

It's imbedded in my brain now like knowing where I live LOL.

btw to make planed maple lumber you need stroma oil. omg.

Seriously I don't know how I remember this stuff, it's quite scary actually. ::::16::

LOL.. the other night I sat around for 45 minutes with 4 other guildies in Stormhold waiting for a named to pop for a quest for one of them...  He never popped...

I went to bed and had dreams that he kept popping over and over and I was getting massive XP and I remember waking in the middle of the night, glancing at the alarm clock on my night stand thinking "it's 4am, I'm going to be majorly tired for work in 2 hours but I the XP I'm getting with this group is worth it. I can't log now!"
