Most of us have decided that while we await the launch of Final Fantasy XIV that we should return to and play FFXI, not only for nostalgic reasons, but FFXI is just; such a truly unique MMO that none others can be compared with!
Our planned date of return will be July 1st, '09 to capitalize on the billing cycle that Square-Enix uses!
So if you happen to be interested in returning to FFXI whether you are a returning elder of FFXI or a new player that has never given FFXI a trial or chance yet, then please stop by our forums by clicking on my signature below. There is a sticky under the Visitors & Newbie section with more details that you should read, and its highlighted in pink so you can't miss it! If you like what you've read and would like to join us then follow the instruction given and we'd be happy to have you join our ranks and get to know you!
Now even if you are interested in joining us on this lengthy wait for FFXIV, you will not be required to join us in FFXI, but if you decide too, that would be all the better! We're all looking forward to meeting both the elder and new players alike so stop on by...hope we see you!

Turns out there will be an extended maintenance this month which makes us have to wait until mid-day July 2nd before PlayOnline will accept new accounts again!
Anywho, we have been growing steadily and have almost 10 members set to restart with new characters on Fenrir! Most of us are returning veterans, but we've also got several new players joining as well. Again if you're interested in giving FFXI a try and with some experienced players to help you get started, stop by our forums and join us!
I've added a ton of useful links along the right side of the forums including a "New Player Video Guide" that Square-Enix made not too long ago that everyone interested in playing that hasn't yet should watch! Hope to see some more players join us!

Ah, I see a lot of FFXIV communities are coming back to FFXI, likewise with ours too.
