I've never really seen this addressed anywhere, so I was hoping someone who was in the beta or maybe caught an obscure article that illustrated the physics in CO, particularly the ability to use objects in the game world. Can my super strength hero/villain pick up a car and throw it? Can he/she/it rip out a lamp-post and use it like a baseball bat to knock the stuffing out of an opponant? These options were lacking in CoH, so I was wondering if Cryptic put it into CO. I know DCUO has these physics, so will CO beat DCUO to the punch with an interactive world?

Absolutely yes. Rag doll physics too, so when that car hits the bad guys they go flying in all kinds of entertaining poses.
Excellent, thanks! I'm glad i pre-ordered, now.

He was kidding, I think.
If you don't know, then why accuse him of kidding?
Can anyone else confirm or deny whether or not the physics previously described are in the game?

I know for sure that you can pick up and throw cars. I'm pretty confident this extends to other street objects like posts or benches. As for the ragdoll physics, though I would absolutely love to see this, I haven't heard one way or another.
Excellent, thank you!

City of Heroes/Villains had a nice version of ragdoll physics, therefore we can somewhat safely suppose that CO will have it in as well.
