Im a level 18 Predator. Today I finshed my "Path of the Assasin" quest but I'm still level 18. Will I just instantly turn into an assasin when I hit 20 or do I have to do something else?

No once you hit lvl 20 you will become one otherwise you will gain skills 2 levels early.

yea it works the same way with the first subclass quest.
I'm not sure what the predator's level 20 spell is. But if you have one, you can buy it...but can't use it till 20.
That's when you can finally use what you're going to (not sure about preds, but some tanks, either dual weird, or kite shields, etc)
sure you have to get your skill up..but you can still use some of them.
