Short Term Update Plans

Craig put a little update out to keep people in the know as to whats going on rest of this month and August:

A Quick Update

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I just wanted to take a minute to give you good folks a quick update on the current update plans over this summer period. With 1.05.3 now safely deployed to the live servers we are working towards two updates at the moment.

There will most likely be a smaller 1.05.4 update that contains some small fixes, and some more class and balance adjustments. This we will be most likely deploying to the test server in a couple of weeks time, then the live servers soon after.

Then we have 1.05.5 which is currently planned to contain the Iron Tower, a new level 80 single team instance in Tarantia Commons, and some additional updates, tweaks and fixes. This update will be on the test servers probably mid to late August.

There may be some smaller clean-up updates after that, but the focus will then switch to the testing and release of the 1.06 update cycle. I will be talking a lot more about what's included there in the next community letter!

So there you have the current plans so that you know what to expect in terms of updates and what we are looking at timing wise right now

Iron Tower coming soon, then I think we will see the rather large House of Crom coming through with 1.06 as well as the Guild changes.

    Holy Crap!

I Just want to say THANK YOU to Mr. Craig Morrison. Never in any game have a ever seen the actual game director so active in the community. I have seen you posting on various forums and websites everywhere on the net. I wasnt with AoC at launch, nor do I know who the old director was, but Morrison knows whats up. If anyone will 'fix' AoC (although I already think its awesome) it will be Morrison

I just started playing AoC since 1.05 and I am loving every bit of it.

I check Video Game websites every days and Morrison and his team are out promoting the game and doing interviews. AoC has been getting much need positive exposure.

I cant wait for the Iron Tower, I think it will be a great addition to the game.

But If you are reading this (which you proboly will) then I think this is the Feature Players want the most (Including myself):

Those PvP Towers in the boarderlands that any guild can capture and hold, and they generate resources the longer you hold them. I think this would be a great addition to the game, Espcially if a good 6 man team is capable of taking a tower by themselfs. Add PvP towers, it would be amazing and add hundreds of hours to the game from guilds just fighting to control these towers.

    Keep it up Silirrion

Guild Wars - Rorick Aurlith E/Mo pumped up with the best armor and weapon, has all his skills, and runes. PvP King!

Dark Age of Camelot - Leaton 50 Vampiir - Lamorak - Guild: Magic and Mayhem!

AoC devs are really impressing me.  I feel like they may do the Conan lore justice if the game keeps going strong.  I am definitely resubbing after my vet return, and look forward to playing off and on and experiencing everything they pull out of the books.

I agree, need the Towers, vote for Towers!, bring on, the Towers! I think might end up with 12v12 situations.
