Dont feel like playing an MMOFPS... pretty much played them all nothing like WoW, Perfect World, Gun Bound, maple Story.
If the game you suggest is like WoW or plays like WoW just font bother i dont feel like playing another lame ass carebear game with no type of risk what so ever.... yes you heard me WoW sucks always has always will @_@";

sorry to see you pass on eve, its really the only released mmo that isnt a damn carebear game and has pvp with risk, your other option is darkfall, which has alot of issues atm.
Iv tried many mmos trying to find a fantasy version of EVE, or an eve alterntaive. There is none.
And yes iv played df.
Its issues share the name of a book written by dan simmons...

There is an alliance, IIRC by the name of Hyperion or something related, so large that when they choose to assemble in full force they crash the server. and they leave no room for small guilds to expand or get anything done. at least, thats the state I left the game in.
ight first off all games are carebear unless you go outside and beat the crap outta somone irl. Secondly, Darkfall or Lineage II are your best bet for the style your asking for. Id have to lean more towards Lineage II because frankly it is a better overall game. Darkfall well I'm sure you'll find out plenty on why I nor most of these and most gaming forums won't endorse that game.

and game with some risk? guess there r some perma death mmo games out there
i recommend tibia...very risk on pvp servers

I don't know why you say pass on Eve. It's very much what you say you are looking for. I've played my fair share of MMOs and Eve is simply the best there is right now.

its just very old school and diffreant iw ould say lacks polish in some areas more than has issues
EvE rules, but if you can't stand EvE try Vanguard. The crafting is challenging and leveling is too. There's no pvp in Vanguard, well there's a pvp server, but no one plays on it.

Yeah, I've been a fan of Dan Simmons for... geeze... a while now. I've read about... 10 of his books now, I think. Only ones I can't seem to get into are Illium and Olympos - maybe because I never read the Illiad, so I don't "get" the connections.

Def not Aion. Heh, I say you just install Diablo 2 and roll an Hardcore char, that's def a challenge with some risk. Other than that I dunnno 'cept for Eve which is not an option.
