A prayer to Odin, as we embark on our journey:
So it shall be that Nave will know of me and my kinsmen;
For I am Odin’s Oak, the shield-wood, wielder of wound-engraver and painter of the wolf’s fang, he who hath tasted the giants drink, poured forth the mead of Odin whilst upon the mighty sea-king’s ski amid the plain of seals, oft accompanied by auroch’s spear, known to be hostile to gold, I am no mortal man, let it be that the wound-bees strike me or that the flying thorn bite me, neither by the death of snakes nor terror of the birch shall I fall, for ready come my pourer of the sea of the horn, so thus shall ever be sung over the enemy of the sail, that my glories not fade nor bravery diminish as does the river of swords flow in my sons, sing shall they of the clash of the valkyrie, fall in glory to the game of iron, that I may revel in the storm of metal in eternities great hall, unto the end rage amid the immortals to slay the horse of the giantess and glimpse the final end that marks thus the dawn, I am of the Northmen and the fjord of the heather is my realm.

We'll be praying don't worry. Though Odin prefers those who look after themselves, and I think we've done that putting in our lot with MO.

The Death Prayer. An excellent prayer and thanks for posting it.
In the movie The 13th Warrior this prayer is recited - it's an incredible scene for the feelings of pride and also doom that it provokes.

As an actual pagan I can say one thing: The horse god does not take requests, at least not unless he is in a good mood.
