I guess i'll put in my 2 Kinah two with slightly more detail about why.
1) Assassin, Spiritmaster, or Socrceror. Howver, it is likely I'll play at least 2 out of the 3 or even all 3.
2) Chanter, Cleric, or Spiritmaster. These 3 jobs works with my Assassin well if understand how to handle mob and hate. Kills at a good speed without having to rest much if at all.
3) I cannot say for certain, in beta everyone is testing different characters, there are all types running around. I'll list ones that I see running around the most to the ones I see running around the least.

Some of these are actually close to tie in numbers, so don't worry about healer shortage more than normal MMORPG standard.
1) I'm enjoying the spiritmaster but will probably make a cleric or chanter too.
2) Good thing about spiritmasters is they're versatile enough to make teaming with any other class easy.
3) My impression just from one weekend in closed beta is that sorcerers, spiritmasters, chanters and rangers are a bit under-represented. I see lots of melee'ers and a decent amount of clerics. That matches what I've read about which classes are best in pvp.

We dont need casuals in our games!!! Errm... Well we DO need casuals to fund and populate our games - But the games should be all about "hardcore" because: We dont need casuals in our games!!! (repeat ad infinitum)
whoops, wrong game. I noticed in a poll here recently the classes people intend to play was virtually even at 9-11% or so each, with the one I plan on playing, a cleric, the highest. That was a bit surprising. Haven't read to much here on grouping, so I guess I'll have to see how grouping unfolds to plan what class to group with.
