I hope Hero classes are like subclasses of each normal class so it gives distiction. And gives the ablity to choose between differeont ones. Like for example

    Warrior

    Hero classes

Berserker- Gives abilities and combat styles geared towards dishing out large amounts of frontload damage while negating there own well being by reducing armor, and other defensive capabilities.

Defender- Gives abilities based around defense, improving hitpoints, defense, and armor.

    Hunter

    Hero Classes

BeastMaster- Gives abilities geared towards improving the strength and abilities of there pets, becoming true masters of the animals.

Ranger- Gives abilities geared towards tracking, and improvement of there ranged combat prowess.

And so on and so forth. The only problem is, this may bring "unbalance" to an already balanced game. Anyhow, we will see.

Meaning, you will be able to go into God-Mode from player made hacks, ala Diablo.  Two weeks into the game and its already has a few hacks, I bet there will be more to come especially in the competitive field that PvP brings.  Everyone will look for that edge to best other players.  Blizzard isn't perfect, far from it.

Most if not all these types of games are hacked. It's just a matter of what's done about it.

No, Blizzard isn't perfect.  Who do you think is better?

bots are and will always be there and it is almost impossible to detect them unless they're massively used and they can get on the knowledge of them. What i hope is that they keep being on a real minority so it doesn't fuck a game wich takes a lot to make image

Anyways blizzard is doing a great begin banning accounts in the 1st month for using speed exploit..... this gives me some trust on them.... for now :P

btw anyone really knows how the hero classes will work like? will be a only users abaliable class or a kind of 2nd job or what?

We dont need your sarcasm here. This world aint perfect, computers aint perfect. Its not Bliz's fault that someone can intercept/manipulate packets and dupe/hack. You should look on the game itself, do they have many bugged quest? Do they have many items that are bugged? No, ive seen only 1 buged quest, it was a bit annoying but I could finish it when it was "de-bugged". I also one fell down under the ground and couldnt retreat my body, and CS wouldnt respond so i just loged. CS responce time is a different issue. This game is as clean as I ever seen. Hell, even in OB its cleaner then most games that were devepoed AND were on the market for several years

This is about WoW and no other game.  I just dont understand why some people continue to bring up other games, knock them down, make make WoW look better.  WoW is a good enough game to stand on its own without some people flaming other games to do it.  It just shows, you have nothing good to say about the game when you have to alway bring up, in sometimes childish ways, how someone else sucks.

If you like WoW then say it without talking about other games, you just show that you really don't know what you are talking about and give the game free press.

If you someone has an opinion that might be negative, they are not always other games fanbois just trolling.  WoW isn't perfect, and it for sure can get better.  I want it to get better not act like everything is rolling great.

Relax, no need to get into a hissy fit over words, they are just words.  And it wasn't sarcasm, its a possible future.  I am just speaking from Blizzard's track record with games and hacks and nothing else.  If you think I am going to bury my head in the sand and HOPE no one hacks the crap about of WoW then you are mistaking.

    Haxx0rz should be shot. :)

why not comparing to other games? u can't say something is good if u don't know what is bad.

It is just that u can get ideas of what to get better from other places or see what the problems are not to make the same mistakes.

Sometimes avoiding haqs isn't that hard....for example make ppl level with quests instead of killing mobs....

Sure but it gets really old fast when all you hear is how the other games suck.  People act like onlines will end with the creation of WoW.

Just can't stand fairweather/bandwagon sheep.  But what can you expect from Bnet kiddies I guess.

I apologize for jumping the gun. However, I still disagree with you. I dont see anything rmotely happening with WoW as it happend with Diablo2. They are just too different games made in a different times. After Diablo, Blizzard had enough time to see what they did wrong with the game. I am confident there wont be any major issues regarding game security. I havent seen anyone hack or use bots and I see that Bliz dealt with them swiftly. I hope they dont screw up like SOE did with EQ.

Look, any class that looks cool and is uber and requires a long time to do, lots of people will do it!!!!

What killed SWG was Jedi!!!  Why?  NOt cause Jedi is uber or overpowered!!! It's because everyone ended up going away from the game itself to grind their Jedi.

So what happens when 50% or more of the population stop playing the game, stop crafting, stop doing group hunts and stop everything EXCEPT grind Jedi?   The community dies, the economy is ruined and the game sucks!

Let's just hope this Hero class is not something everyone will end up wanting to grind and do, or else there will not be anymore Priests to heal people.  There will not be anyone crafting anymore.  There won't be Warriors that will tank except Heroes, etc... and WoW will die... and I will just force myself to re-enjoy EQ2 that does not have any Hero or Jedi classes

First off i'd just like to say that WoW isn't even run on battle.net. Battle.net is for W3, SC, and Diablo 2 people, and is a FREE online server world, so of course they (Blizzard) won't be as concerned about it since they don't have much riding on people hacking something free. Finally enough people DID start hacking and they got fed up and destroyed all known hacked equipment (BURNINATION!), DELETED any characters known to hack and set in anti-hack technologies.

However, for WoW, they set up a brand new server, if any one player hacks that effects another player, they (blizzard) can lose a customer, and hence a monthly subscription fee, so they can and WILL find every possible way to prevent the issue, and kill those doing it when they are caught.

Secondly, i seriously doubt hero classes will imbalance the game or become some huge grind (see JEDI) so i doubt that will be a problem...Why is it sony answers ever MMO problem with a huge arbitrary grind?

IMO Hero classes sound like (as someone else said) just another branch from the basic classes. I'd expect them at level 30-40, maybe 50, or 60 if they want to expand the game beyond that level (which they said they do) so i doubt there will be any problem with them, maybe just one quest to split the classes for further specialization beyond what talents offer.
