Currently I am playing EQ2 and I find it pretty enjoyable up until about level 20 and then it feels like I'm constantly trying to play keep up with the rest of the server. But I do find the game enjoyable so I don't want to sound like I'm flaming it.
I asked for WOW for Christmas so I will be able to try it out. My question about WOW is:
Will I still be ok to start up a character and find groups, or is everybody leveling so fast that I'll be stuck by myself at lower levels?

I still see a lot of low level players. Besides, the beauty of WoW is - ANY class can solo, I am not sure up untill what leve.. I believe u can solo up to 60, but I havent got that far yet so I cant say for sure. I pretty much soloed my way into 31. I grouped ONLY for red elite (meaning very hard) quests. Some classes solo better then others, but you CAN solo with any class. Also, if you join a good guild, then I am sure they will help you complete those hard quests that you cant find a group for and cant solo.

I personally play on Magtheridon, level 31 gnome rogue (Gnomercy). So far the community is OK, i havent had any major problems, some people are nice, some arent, but its easy to avoid jerks /ignore or /leave the general channel.
