I walked into an internet cafe to look at world of warcraft and I saw about ten adult males playing it.
They smelled horrible, as if they have not showered for a week and are homeless.
Don't get too addicted
Cheaper than crack man.
Just yeah, take showers.

I play WoW for 5-6 hours daily, i only go to work becuase i wouldnt be able to pay for warcraft and food (WoW comes first though). Sometimes on weekends i dont go to sleep but play WoW 48 hours straight. Who needs cigarettes, drugs or alcohol when u can immense yourself in a fantasy and dream of your heroic deeds that you could never achieve in RL.

God help us all. Forbid that the servers ever go down for three days. People will be going on killing sprees all over the U.S. and Canada.
Hehe so true...
Soon, however, we will have major battles on the streets, people who play horde vs people who play alliance.
DEATH TO THE HORDE AND PEOPLE WHO PLAY THEM!!! YARRRRRR

At least the gamers playing the game stink, and not the game itself.
I wish i had a waterproof laptop

"I hate you! And I hate the Races you play!"
I dont even know what my sig says, i'm actually afraid to look at it! HA.
Yes, Im incredibly addicted to this game. Thankfully, my work and bills that I have only requires me to work on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday! Come Monday thru Thursday, Im WoW and thats it! I've actually gotten myself into a really bad habit of sleeping! I cant seem to break myself of it either! I wake up around 2:30 due to the fact that i didnt go to sleep until 6:00 am, brush my teeth, turn the monitor on, check email and play WoW until 6:00 in the morning. Thats it. The only time i ever get up out of my chair is to get something to eat, use the bathroom, or if my cousin calls to go play DDR in the mall lol! I do that monday thru thursday and than I have addiction cravings friday-sunday! I cant help myself, Im just so addicted, but thats ok! Im ok with that right now, but i dont know how its going to be able to work out when i go back to college January!

Came back from work, played Star Wars Galaxies until midnight. Sleep. (Repeat until weekend)Weekend, wake up, play SWG, lunch, play SWG, dinner, play SWG, sleep at 5AM in the morning.
Worlds of Warcraft??? Came back from work, eat, take a break, play WoW for 2-3 hours, logoff, watch a movie or animes, sleep.
Weekends = GO OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I can't convince any of you to calm down for a MMORPG, but hey, one day you will realize your mistake by spending too much time playing MMORPGs, not talking to your friends, parents, gaining weight, getting weak, etc... and once you do, you will stop or slow down.
Besides, if you play too much of a MMORPG, you will become too bored of it too quickly. So take your time... or better yet, GET A LIFE!

I suffered a lot from my addiction to DOAC when it came out. I was spending every waking hour on that game and I dropped out of college but kept my part time job.
I'm still not done my degree because of that damn game.
I feel sorry for those who become adicted to a game they will master in a month. *this is not bashing WoW* I just wouldn't get too involved, keep takin those showers!
Do Or Do Not There is No Try
The sad thing is that it doesnt show how good the game is. Every mmo ever made had had its diehard fans, whether it sucked or not. They all have fans that are insane and are addicted and their whole lives are centered around it. This has nothing to do with how good or bad the game is.
That is enough I don't want to hear how long you people can go without taking a shower, damn you guys must shell like 1 month old sushi... damn...
Well, who am I to criticize some one elses lifestyle?
It is not my life, it is thers. I don't care how they live!
If someone sits by a computer 22 hours a day, fine I don't care.
But some do, and that is......well.......I don't got the word for it!
Yeah deal with it, or else

This thread is both the most amazing and sadly sickening thing I think I've ever read... I thought -I- was bad for playing AC for 2 hours a day back when I was 'addicted'... as far as I'm concerned there are no good MMORPGS out right now... so I've been stuck playing UT:2k4 in my free time (and it doesn't take up a lot of it) and all I can say is my life is 100% better now that I've started working out again, earned a girlfriend, and just in general spending time outside my dorm room. I honestly hope for my own sake that no other MMORPG gets released thats as good as Darktide once was... cause I don't know if I would be able to fight the dormant addiction that sleeps inside of me either.
But seriously, you guys arn't going to play this game your entire life, and all that's left over in the end is a feeling of emptyness and wasted time. Although, I will admit that there are a few memories of myself soloing 5 or 6 mages at once as a melee on DT that I wouldn't trade the world for... lol.
Whatever, take it or leave it, I'm out.
Soloing 5 or 6 mages you lil rascal you lol. Well back in the old days of DAOC I held about 10 enemys from my guild keep. Most of em lvl 50 as I was only lvl 37. Come ae snare then dot then run ahh the good days =p.
BAH... Im gonna marry a nice NE chick, have some funky time. Then perhaps we have some kids together, llittle GNELFS or somethin' then, when I am about to pass to the other side I will give all me treasures and loot to me kids and be proud that Ive raised them as a true Warrior/paladin/rogue or whatever...
Who needs real life when you can have real life in a fantasy world?
