I have Chosen this game to be the first Pay to Play game i'll be playing. I've played inumerable FTP games and i'm so tired of it that i think that the only way to escape is to evolve the level of game i'm playing. The question i'm wondering myself is that will there be any younger people playing this game?? people in tge teens or young twenties cause no offense but if the majority of the communtiy is of the older kind, i wont have much pplto relate to/ become friends with.
I know that if i want a wide age range in an MMO i should play WOW but the graphics of wow really through me off and Aion look really cool and I like Flying. if there isnt and i cant find a community i can feel involved in i'm gonna have to try switchin to WOW
And i'm gonna sound really nerdy to ppl cause WOW is so well known
anyways any young ppl planning to play this game give a shout out

I can guarantee you that there will be teens and early twenties, etc playing. The majority will probably be 20-30s, which seems pretty standard for any MMO these days, but there will be plenty of younger people playing as well.
Welcome to Pay2Play. IMO, once you play a good P2P, you can never go back to F2P.
...though I started on P2P, so I've never really played a good F2P. IMO, they just don't compare.
I'm sure there will be plenty of teenagers playing this game, and certainly a large group will probably be 20-30. Most of my guild seems to be in our 20's from what I've seen :P.
this game will def bring in ppl of all ages. well 13+ for sure so my guess is the bulk of the community will be in there late teens early twenties. i cant see to many kids playing this game, they dont have much to relate too in terms of graphics and such.
Ether way if you find a good guild to settle into age wont matter. Ive been in guilds with ppl well into there forties and gotten along with them just fine. Had a lot more fun then i anticipated. When you are with ppl that share the same interests and such your age isnt going to really matter. So my advice find a guild you can get into and filled with players that share the same interests and goals.
Have Fun!!
If graphics is how you rate an MMO then you probably should not be playing MMO's, graphics are the last concern, wow is the best in every way tested, tried and proven...
indeed there will be plenty of 20 somethings in aion, theres also no content thats going to directly tell parents not to buy it for teens, but we sure as hell dont want the immature mob that runs the wow servers on aion. 12 million subs on wow, 8 million+ of them are useless rejects that drive you nuts when theyre on your server due to the mindless drivel they spout. god bless aion and give us a good community at launch, amen.
Something tells me you are part of that 8 million

Graphics aren't the biggest deal for me, but I'd like a certain standard if I'm going to be playing for a while. I'm more concerned with art direction and the like though.
Age does not determine maturity. I seen some 12 year olds that are more mature and better at playing than a 40 year old gamer. Player's view on game focus matter as well. There will be always clash of opinions, such as the more extreme PvP and PvE gamers usually does not get along too well. Solo vs group opinions are one of the conflicts too, then there are the RP focused players.
On the other hand, I never understood why people have so many clash of opinions, but it might be because I usually live in the grey area right in the middle so I never had many strong feelings on a topic. I enjoy everything a game has to offer or at least try to. Dealing with other players are a part of mmorpg, but it does not mean someone can't be a lone wolf. I do not tell people how to enjoy a game, and expect the same in return. If I find someone I enjoy hanging out with in game, then that is great thing. This is how I play mmorpg and it will be the same for Aion.
Well you could always relate with older players on how they were once your age XD?
Anyway in my experiance age really is not a big deal as long as you enjoy playing with someone else. If anything most of the time I am in game I find myself talking about the game itself. You can at least relate to each other about that.

THanks for the feedback i hope that ur right about the ages and i got used to the thousands of annoyin people by playing F2P games and by playing Halo 3 =D and age doesnt really matter i guess, if i can find cool people to party up with and level with its goin to be alright. SO Aion go ahead and take my P2P virgintiy away

You forgot to add OLD, TIRED, BORING, and totally CAREBEAR with the new patches. It was a good game in it's time, but it's time to move on.

Considering how broken and boring WoW is now, it shows how long a simple formula like it can last. You keep adding to it until it becomes unstable.
